I had Mr. Zales do work after ...

I had Mr. Zales do work after him giving me what I thought was a fair estimate for his work which was to install three ceiling fans with lights. It took two days for him to complete the work even though assisted by two helpers.
After the work was done I discovered that the fans and lighting did not work off the switches that originally operating the fans that were replaced and they could only be turned on and off by remote. Additionally, when operating by remote, if the lights were turned on in one room, they were turned on in another.
I called Mr. Zale to have him rectify this and he arrived some days later, not quite as pleasant as he was when he wanted my business originally. He told me that it could not be done. I have learned since that this is not so and that they were not installed properly...period.
I would not recommend him and I would urge anyone NOT to you him for any of your handyman needs.

I have Installed over 200 ceiling fans, its 2 wires, a no brainier, the issue was a delay when the lights were turned on which has to do with the wiring in the house, never the less I did try to remedy the situation, here is her response. After receiving this email, which was very rude and disrespectful, I consider the issue closed Mr Zales, I do not know how else to respond to this except to say that you had the opportunity shortly after the original work was done to remedy the problem. You told me it could not be done when in fact it could and as a result caused me to spend money I could ill afford to so that my sons could have lighting in their rooms. In anticipation of your reimbursement, I hired someone to fix both fans and rewire them so that they could operate off the switch they were intended to and also so that the remotes that came with the fans did not operate fans in rooms they were not in. Had you made good on your original work we wouldn't be here right now. You are certainly not a businessman with a sense of ethic otherwise you would have certainly understood my dilemma and done the work as I had hired you to do. I am not certain that I could trust you to do any sort of work in or around my home and it is for this reason that I am demanding reimbursement for services not rendered.
