Save-A-Lot

One of the best produce departments I've seen. Top grade produce with much lower prices than competitors. Very fresh and a wide range of produce. They recently have gone into organics, which was a welcome change. An entire section seems to be devoted just to a wide selection of apples.

They seem to be upgrading their selection all through the store. Local products from locally owned producers. They have retained some of the low priced discount products, but added higher end brand name products like Bob's Red Mill.products.

I usually didn't shop at Save A Lot, but that changed after my last visit. It will be my main food shopping source in the future.
