Island Bliss Day Spa

I received a couples massage with my boyfriend a few months ago and I still regret spending so much money here. I have never written a bad review before but my massage was not great. We did enjoy the steam shower, which was very relaxing but the massage was what we came for and left disappointed.

Extremely clean and relaxing environment. Smells nice and the place is cozy. Staff is accommodating and very professional. Our package: 1hr Swedish couples massage with champagne and chocolates with complementary grapes and cheese which was a nice surprise we appreciated. Only cons: Temperature of massage oil and room could have been warmer (personal preference). I've experienced other types of massage and did not favor this style (again personal preference). Rescheduling fee: 50$, cancellation fee: 20$ per person. My apologies for previous review as I recently experienced a sudden death in my immediate family. I'm sure the owner would have accommodated my request for rescheduling without a fee if I had explained that to them. Was not satisfied with this experience most likely due to personal circumstances.

My husband and I were given a gift card for a one hour couples massage for our one year anniversary. Went yesterday and were absolutely delighted. After a great massage by very professional and friendly therapist we were escorted to a private room where champagne and chocolate covered strawberries were waiting for us. It's so Great to be able to relax after a massage. The refreshments made that even extra special. The spa is the nicest I have been to on Staten Island and my husband and I frequently do spa services. We purchased 4 gift cards for gifts for family members.

A rare find in day spas on Staten Island! Professional, courteous staff! Loved the ambiance of the spa, didn't want to leave!
