So, only write bad things when bad things happen.
Who washes dishes next to food, and let customers watch. Building has had no investment in it for last 30 years. Upholstery is dirty and broke. Food was not much better.
Please choose wisely, I live close by and not the place to go.

My family and I decided to try Cedar River on the recommendation of a friend, what a good choice. The waitstaff was very helpful with our orders and was very familiar with the menu items. I ordered the frog leg dinner, while my wife got flounder. Both kids got meals from the kids menu, which included mac n cheese and apple sauce. My frog legs were out of this world, cooked perfect and plenty of them. Ihad to try a piece of flounder and it too was outstanding! About halfway through our meal the manager, Adam came by the table to see how everything was and suggested we try some of his gumbo he'd just made. Since everything else was so great I decided to give it a try. I know next time to save some.room for the gumbo! Anytime I have family in town I will definitely be taking them to Cedar River. Try the frog legs and you will be turned on to them forever.

just ate here for the first time on March 10th, 2009. since I can't eat much after having gastric bypass surgery, I still had enough to know this is one of the best places for seafood. I had some fried fish and clams with tartar sauce, and was very mild yet flavorful. they have hushpuppies with coconut or something sweet in them....extremely delicious. not sure of pricing since I ate just a few items from a fried platter my parents split. a local person recommended this place and was worth any price. but will guess the fried platter was around $15. not sure if they server alcohol.
attire is casual but slightly dressy....like maybe a pair of docker pants and a polo shirt for guys. but saw a younger girl in jean shorts. casual but great service. only slightly difficult to exit the place since you must turn right which is north. must enter the place from the south. has the right amount of parking for their seating area...meaning they match. got there slightly after 5pm on a Tuesday, and were only 3 other parties in the restaurant.
