Life at learning stages has been much happier ever since one particular child who terrorized the place moved onto a different school. Which I suspect the mother is the one who made the one bad review. She seems like the "not my child" type or parent. Many of us parents saw on several occasions the child being very violent towards classmates, teachers, and classroom property. Just flat out all around disrespectful, stressful to deal with and stressful to be around. The things he would openly talk about to the people around about his parents would embarrass anyone! But the mother was never one you could approach, she just liked to and continues to place blame on everyone else. She has even personally contacted several of us parents to try and plant seeds of doubt or rumors. She also has even had her child recite his lines on sight to some of us outside of school. It didn't take me long to figure out this one. So take that review with a grain of salt, its highly exaggerated and manipulated

As far as the school goes, given this particular challenge they were faced I have seen them act of up most professionalism with all parents and students. My child loves going here! The teachers are very loving and caring of each child. They teach them how to respect and get along with one another. I am so satisfied with how much my child has learned during their time here! When we graduate there's no question they will be prepared for kindergarten! I tell all of my friends about this facility and would recommend it to everyone! The director is very hands on and any concerns you may have her door is always open for you! Confidentiality is no problem either in my experience. I think the reason that one reviewer feels her business was all out there was because several of us parents saw her and her husband fighting outside in the parking lot. Again it takes no genius, when witness to several incidents, to figure this one out.

I would to have strongly disagree with the comment below and I am not an imaginary person commenting on here. In the 3 years that my children have attended this school we have seen and witness how much our kids our loved and are taught well. We spent a year searching for the right school and and after visiting several places our heart was with the Learning Stages. As our oldest is getting ready to attend kindergarten our youngest will continue to attend and we look forward to her educational growth with Learning Stages. I have never witnessed the director nor her assistant discussing other children infront of other parents and feel they are extremely professional. We have recommended this school to many friends and family who have also praised the school!

This daycare facility has dicipline policies that emotionally abuse children. The owner/director of the facility has allowed teachers to hit children on their bottoms and allowed teachers to threaten the children with police officers if they display what is considered “bad behavior.” The director also neglects to address parent concerns of emotional/physical abuse of children. Both directors are very dishonest, can be extremely rude and prevent parents from contacting teachers about concerns involving their child’s day.

The parents that do not ask questions or expect more have no issues. Parents who ask questions are the ones that get treated rudely by the directors and those parent’s children are in turn treated badly emotionally and sometimes physically as in my experience.

After having my child at this facility, I now get questions such as “Can teachers hit my bottom? This is what my teacher does and I don’t like it! Can teachers grab my arm hard like this?” My child would cry and scream not to go to school. I am still dealing with the long term effects of my child attending this facility. My child fears school, teachers and police officers because of the dicipline policies at this facility. The director and her assistant also discsses other children with parents which makes confidentiality non existent in an attempt to cover up their inappropriate practices.

Enroll your child at this facility at your own risk. It was not worth the emotional/physical abuse that my child endured to keep him enrolled at Learning Stages Inc. I also found out that Maggie H. is a fake review staged by the facility to give 5 star ratings.

Now, I am not a huge review writer but for this, it is a must (because it IS so important when choosing care for our children). If you want to place your infant, toddler or preschooler is a private school with teachers that sincerely care for each child on a very individual basis, a great director who is always available and able to respond to questions or concerns, a school that has a wonderful curriculum where your child learns things like verbal, math, reading, critical thinking, interaction and emotional skills and on top of that always has extra curricular activities going on for the children (even have field trips that come to them to keep the little ones fascinated and excited about each day and new learning adventure).... and that is also affordable (as if everything else isn't enough) - then you need to PICK THIS DAY-CARE/SCHOOL for your child or at least pay them a visit while you are looking around. I truly love Learning Stages, Inc. and all of the staff there so much. I really believe in what they are doing there. My child (turning three next month) has been going there for over a year and a half now and I fully intend to keep him there until his is too old to go and has to start public school. I feel so blessed to have found Learning Stages and would happily recommend it to any parent!!!! From taking him from a at home day care to a school environment, it is incredible the progress I have seen in him through what he has been learning there. :) I am one happy and proud momma!
