Chiropractic Adjustments
Another benefit of chiropractic adjustments is that they can help to decrease both the frequency and the intensity of the migraines. This means with Chiropractic care you will get your migraines less often and when you do get them they will be less intense.
Spinal Adjustments
At Springville Chiropractic will help you to get moving again. Our care includes spinal adjustments to help correct the faulty biomechanics caused by the auto accident. We also use a specialized muscle techniques called Trigenics® to help your muscles and tendons to recover.
Manipulation Therapy
In 2001, a study performed at Duke university, compared medications against the effectiveness of alternative methods for the treatment of headaches. Concerning chiropractic treatments, they stated that “spinal manipulation resulted in almost immediate improvement for those headaches that originate in the neck, and had significantly fewer side effects and longer-lasting relief of tension-type headache than a commonly prescribed medication.”
Acupuncture
In a study performed in 2010, a group of 40 people suffering with sciatica caused by a disk herniation, that had previously tried treatments of physical therapy, massage and acupuncture, were divided into two different groups. One group of 20 people would receive chiropractic treatments, while the other group of 20 people would have spinal surgery to treat the cause of sciatica.
