Purchased a table and chairs towards the end of Nov. Was told we should see it around the second week of Dec, before Christmas. Delivery was changed to Jan 1 during the 2nd week of Dec. Then delivery was changed to Jan 9. Now its been changed to Jan 11th. We had no table for the holidays, family eating on our couch was fun.. not really.
We inquired on cancelling our order, Ashley strong armed us with a re-stocking fee. We agreed it to but hoped they would not charge the fee due to the incompetence of delivering our table.
We were told not to deal with Ashley, but liked the table and hoped for the best.
I do not recommend Ashley.... very disappointed about the hassle to receive our costume furniture.

This branch is a ridiculous and sad excuse for a customer service business. BUY FROM ANY OTHER STORE BEFORE SPRINGFIELD ASHLEY FURNITURE. I do not care how much of an amazing deal they have compared to others, I would NEVER buy from these people again. They will botch your delivery, blame you, not apologize a single time, and waste days of your time. The Springfield branch has no regard for your time or any semblance of respect for their customers. They completely screwed over my family and I and did nothing to fix their mistake. We are not rude, expectant people by any means but would’ve liked to believe that if we paid upward of $1000 we would receive some kindness.
Again, do not waste your time with these people because they certainly won't "waste" their time helping you.

Sales person was top notch! The experience after that should have a minus rating. If you need furniture go somewhere else. No one will contact you when it doesn't arrive on the date that they tell you. NO one will call you when it does arrive. Be prepared for an hours worth of paperwork just to pay cash. Also, be advised that the reason they tell you that if you cancel they will charge you a fee, is because you will want to cancel before it finally arrives.

We ordered a bunch of stuff (a sectional, ottoman, chair, and bed frame) and they said it would take 2 to 4 weeks to come in because they had to order it from the warehouse.

We finally got a call saying that we would get our stuff exactly a month out from when we ordered it which was the absolute last day that they said it might come in. The confirmed the delivery a couple days before and sent us an email confirming it.

Then we got a call saying that it was going to be another week. We got frustrated at this point since we had already sold all of our other furniture and we are hosting an event this weekend with NO WHERE for people to sit. So we called back to MAKE SURE that it would be no later than the week after the expected delivery date- we called the store and they said that it was going to be at least 2 more weeks (so nobody really could tell us a for sure answer).

I then asked what the process would be to return it and not get it and the manager in Sprinfield was VERY rude and said that we would have to pay 10% of the total price for "restocking fee". Whatever the heck that means- if they had it stocked we wouldn't have been in this mess.

So now we are having a party with zero place for people to sit and a big empty room. VERY DISAPPOINTED and will not recommend Ashley to any of our friends who are looking for new furniture.

Excellent service and products! Have furnished my entire lake house and working in my basement in my main residence now! I've shopped at SEVERAL furniture stores and Ashley is the best!

We have been long time Ashley customers at the Independence store in Springfield. Most recently we saw an Ashley kitchen table and chairs on the Nebraska Furniture Mart website. We contacted Ashely and they not only ordered the set, but they matched the price!. You can't ask for anything better than that. Their selection and service is excellent. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for a pleasurable and non-pressure experience.

I was looking for an affordable but new couch for my smaller than normal living room and I found that at Ashley Home Store. Everyone was very helpful and had a pleasant disposition. They delivered it within the time frame and the movers were very nice and set everything up the way I wanted it. Overall I would recommend Ashley Furniture to my friends.

Had a great experience with this location! My wife and I went into the store to just browse. Neither of us have great credit, so our hopes weren't set to high. Believe it or not, they worked with us and we now have a beautiful living room set. Zero regrets!

I was very pleased with the service I received at Ashley furniture, the salesman was very helpful in helping me locate the item I needed. Item was delivered on time and they kept me informed as to when they would be at my house so I didn't have to stay home all day waiting. When there was a small issue with one piece, they were very willing to fix it or replace it which was done quickly with no hassle. I recommend using Ashley furniture for furniture needs.

We bought our sectional and love seat, we love both! Our order was placed and was in and delivered in a timely manner. Our salesman did everything in his power to get a great deal!

The service was great. This was our second time buying furniture from Ashley. They were very willing to assist us in our choice and our salesman Cameron even moved the furniture around several times to let us see how everything looked together.

This is a great furniture store. There were no pushy sales, and the staff was very nice and professional. My wife was looking for a specific model of sofa and was able to quickly find exactly what she had envisioned. We visited several stores, and definitely enjoyed Ashley the most.

I purchased a sofa, chair and coffee table. Good financing offer and application process was simple and quick. My items arrived within two weeks, which was earlier than expected. Delivery was prompt. Will purchase from Ashley again.
