Absolutely terrible unprofessional management! That was the nastiest place I have ever lived... We didnt get a walk thru at the beginning so when we moved in there was a list of about ten things wrong/broken in the unit. There was so much mold under the sink that we could not open the cabinet doors without the odor going through the whole kitchen. I told them about it in an email and I was ignored. Also, maintenance requests I made were ignored. When we moved out, my boyfriend had to beg for a final walk thru. The manager said it was the cleanest she had ever seen before but they ended up charging us for labor and extra work that had nothing to do with when we lived there. It was a nightmare living there for a year. We had bugs when we moved in and they said they sprayed before, but I told them to come spray again and they finally did - then the bugs went away. So they lied! Management is extremely rude. Please do not rent with them!!

Do not do business with this horrible company!! We always paid our rent on time and took care of our property. We had a water leak that we reported to management and was never fixed (we ended up turning off the water to that toilet) our 4 month old beagle puppy ran out the door and was out side for maybe 5 mins by the time we caught him. Four weeks later I get a phone call telling me that they had a video of our dog viciously attacking a child and the cops were called on us. I knew there had to be some mistake. Being very concerned I went up to Elder to view the video to find a video of my puppy running around in circles, chasing and barking at his tail at least 10 feet away from a little boy crying on his porch. We we were in the wrong bc our dog was not leashed but as far as "attacking a child"; certainly not! I then asked about the cops being called on us and it turns out that the cops were called three days prior to the phone call from Elder bc as my husband's cousin was getting into his vehicle when he accidentally pressed the lock button causing his horn to honk (like most cars do when they lock) The cops showed up to our residence to investigate the call for the noise ordnance violation and left when they didn't find anything. We asked the police station if they reported every call to the company and they said no. Turns out the neighbor that gave them the video of the "dog attack" called Elder and told them about them calling the cops on us. After being charged $50 for our dog being off the leash that day we received a letter stating we had to be out of our property 3 days later. When we tried to plead our case to the blonde, older woman in the office she was extremely unprofessional and told me she didn't care to hear our story. We have some friends in the their early 20's that have tried to do business with this company as well who have had similar situations and were told to move before their lease was up. This company is absolutely awful and I would never recommend it to anyone.

Great place to live, staff VERY professional. The Villas in Maumelle are beautiful, the staff made it a great experience, I asked a lot of questions and they were always willing to take the time to explain things to me in DETAIL. I have recommend family and friends. It's a great place to call home.

Property manager told me at signing that my deposit is returned if the property is left clean. This is a lie. They charged me for things that were wrong from the tenant before me. I had proof from pictures

They are dishonest and manipulate the smallest things to say it was during our stay. $15.00 for a .89 TP spring holder. There was not one when we moved in.

I asked for a walk thru at exit, he stated they would not need to clean it was very clean and move in ready.

Now they are keeping my deposit stating they had to clean. They lied to my face more than once. Very dishonest company. They make a lot of money keeping people's deposits that are suppose to be refunded.

Greedy greedy company.

Beware of them.

I have lived at Chester Hills for 2 years now and I absolutely Love it. Quiet peaceful next to the woods and close to everything. I would recommend this place to everyone!!

The location of the properties are convenient throughout NWA. They do not cover pest control at their properties even if there is a preexisting issue before you move in (i.e. brown recluses) so be prepared to spend hundreds of dollars correcting the pest issue if it is present. I was told when I was looking at a townhouse that the stained carpet in the living room would be replaced, it never was, and then after moving out was blamed for the messed up carpet. Being able to pay online and request maintenance was a nice perk and hassle free. Maintenance requests were taken care of in a timely manner and the staff was very friendly and professional. The lawn service they provided for town homes did a nice job and came regularly following the winter months.

If you are looking for a builder in northwest AR, you should call the Elder Construction co. They have been building a long time, are highly respected and fair. We loved working with them and wouldn't work with anyone else.

These places are great and the managers are very nice and helpful. I highly recommend you checking out Elder Company places to rent because you won't regret it.
