I had a massive hook bust my windshield while driving home from work a couple weeks ago. I called a couple different places to get quotes on a new windshield and timeframes for replacement. I have a Mustang so I wanted the windshield with the logo (which did cost a little extra). As soon as I requested information online, I got a phone call about an hour later. They had two quotes for me (one without the logo and one with) and they offered to fit me in same day! I couldn't do same day so they met me at work the next day. It took the technician about an hour to do everything and he was able to salvage all my stickers (reg, inspection, parking decal, and EZ tag) with no problem. I was able to pay over the phone and was sent an invoice immediately. The next couple of days were a great test for the installation because it rained quite a bit! No leaks! I'm extremely satisfied and would certainly recommend them to anyone.

IF you own a BMW ***DO NOT USE THEM*****

I thought it was a no brainer, boy I was wrong. Everything was ok till it was discovered after causing interior damage that my windshield was installed wrong.

1. It is placed into the frame without bumpers(plastic things that the glass sits on and raises it up to the proper height in frame.

2. Since BMW windows have an upper and lower seal. The lower seal was not replace like the top. They used the same one which the lower seal was cut up and did not sit properly( due to the fact of missing bumpers)

3. Then they tried to fill in the gaps(which they did not) with the sealing material they use. Since the lower was not sealed water ran down the windshield and into my car.

4. Finally the did not even put the cowl cover back on properly. It stands up 1/4 " again letting the water into to the improperly sealed window.

I have pictures to prove all of this which I sent to them. I did not expect the response I got....only after I called many times.



See I was not asking for them to cover the repairs on the inside....Only to take out the window and install it properly and cover my 127. deductible from the repairs on the inside.

See I find out that its only a 50/50 chance they can get the windshield out without breaking it since it is non tempered.

The cost for me to have it done, install only is over 300.

And if the windshield should break about 800 more.



So after arguing with the so called manager,( terrible customer service skills) I was sent a check for 300.

Well unfortunately, I still can not get the work done because I do not have the cash for new windshield if it breaks. And because I can not get it reset, the leak will continue. I toss plastic over it if it looks like rain.



Now why did they not take my offer. IT was for less money but they would take responsibility if the windshield would break.

I can only guess that they could care less about customer service and the happiness of their customers.

It really is a shame that their are business' currently that do not care about you. They dont even stand behind their work.



Oh his reasoning was that their was no proof that I did not have the windshield replaced after they did it. But there is a serial number on the windshield which matches the receipt I hold in my hand.,

i DON'T HAVE THE MONEY FOR AN ATTORNEY OR THE TIME TO GO THROUGH ALL THAT MESS.



The manager did not care....



So WARRING : IF YOU HAVE A BMW TAKE YOUR CAR TO SOMEONE WHO KNOWS HOW TO INSTALL A WINDSHIELD PROPERLY.



So I say this to that idiot manager....KARMA...what goes around comes around....you will get yours someday.
