Flooring
Jim remodeled our master bath, leveled our bedroom floor and replaced existing carpet and vinyl with laminate flooring. The area has gone from a very oddly laid out and unhealthy space to a clean, crisp and updated master suite. They were so quiet and unobtrusive, we hardly knew they were in the house, which was wonderful since we operate our business out of our home. They were so wonderful about closing doors and keeping an eye out for our cats and dog. I know that took some extra effort and we are grateful! Thank You!
Door Installation/Replacement

Overall, we are very pleased with everything that was done. We felt that Jim sincerely wanted to help us, and that the quality of his work was the same for us as it might be if he was working in his own home. Most importantly, we have peace of mind and an enhanced sense of security now that our structural issues are resolved. Also, we have a much 'cleaner' final product than we had before Jim did the work. We are definitely interested in having Jim complete more of our work - our money and Jim's time permitting! Call us when you can, Jim - the drywall is in so we are looking at 'moving on'!
Basement Remodeling

Framing
Jim established Norman Construction in November 1974. Early years were spent doing a mix of framing and trimming out new houses and remodeling existing homes. By 1978 he specialized solely in residential and commercial remodeling.

Norman Construction does excellent work. I am very happy with everything and I would recommend your company anytime. You arrived on time and everything was cleaned up every day after work very professional. The tile work is fantastic, and the glass and glass door are far better than I thought possible.

Landscaping
He started painting houses and doing fencing and landscaping while attending Gonzaga Prep and Gonzaga University. Jim painted all of the food shacks and vendor huts in Expo '74, also painted many new homes and commercial projects around Spokane.

The work done by Norman Construction is some of the most quality work we have seen. We feel very comfortable with Norman Construction working in our home. We were quite impressed with the fact that they put cardboard down under their work truck so in the event of drips it would not leave a mess in the driveway.

Window Installation/Replacement
"IN ONE WORD, BEAUTIFUL! Since both my husband and I work full time, during the day, we appreciated that Jim would phone us each evening just to touch base. He would give us a progress report and ask if we had any questions. Jimâ€™s attention to detail in the rounded corners on the countertop and the fine woodwork around windows and doors makes me proud to show off his skills.

Garage Door Repair/Replacement
Enclosed is my check for ### which is the balance due. I understand you feel I am extremely fussy. Youâ€™re right! I am, and thatâ€™s the reason I wanted you to do my kitchen. The cupboard doors are beautiful. I am pleased with the drawers and really like the way you changed the lower cabinet. Itâ€™s just perfect. The door casings, adjusted garage door, plumbing and the tile are all very fine.

Painting
Insulation
Jim raised our kitchen ceiling and replaced our old fluorescent lighting in the kitchen and laundry room with updated recessed lighting. It was a difficult job because of the radiant heat in the ceiling. The kitchen is beautiful and it looks clean and modern compared to its old â€˜70â€™s-â€˜80â€™s look. Itâ€™s a brighter more open working space now and when my 6â€™10â€ brother-in-law visits, he will be able to stand in the kitchen without brushing his hair on the ceiling! We both love the lights over the bar. We appreciate all of Jimâ€™s extra work moving our water pipes around and his observation that our attic insulation was about half of what we needed (we had that taken care of)!
