Metal Builders, Inc. was created in 1977 by Ted Parr and Everette Matthews as a furnish and erect steel building contractor. Both original founders are still active in daily operations and personally oversee construction and operation. Mr. Parr brings decades of experience and knowledge to the company, contributing to steel erection, steel design and estimating. Mr. Matthews brings his own considerable experience with Metal Builders to the sales, general design and estimating portions of the business. Over the years, Metal Builders has expanded to a general construction company that offers a complete design to turn key construction package. As a locally owned construction company, our mission is to achieve superb customer satisfaction. For us, that means committing the necessary time and assistance to the design process so that each customer is completely satisfied with the final design. We often spend a month or two on this process for more complex buildings, but we have dedicated as long as two years to the process for some church buildings. Our business has completed projects in South Carolina, North Carolina, Georgia and Tennessee. Our structures include day care centers, warehouses, offices, schools, churches, food processing centers, laundromats, furniture stores, and many more. Every project completed by Metal Builders is designed to fit the individual needs of each client.
