Medical Weight Loss
Breast augmentation, also known as augmentation mammaplasty, is an elective cosmetic surgical procedure using breast implants. In addition to enlarging the breast size, breast augmentation can correct slightly sagging breasts or breasts that have lost volume due to pregnancy or weight loss.

Chemotherapy
In many cases, reconstruction to correct a lumpectomy site will also be covered by insurance. It is important to check with your individual insurance provider to find a surgeon in your network that meets your reconstruction needs. If your insurance carrier denies approval to have the type of chemotherapy or reconstructive surgery you want, with a specific surgeon of your choice, you can appeal. Office staff will be able to help you in this process.

General Surgery
Dr. Sunny Waitze, Medical Director - Dr. Waitze completed her undergraduate studies at Duke University and graduated from the Hahnemann University School of Medicine, where she was elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha National Medical Honor Society. She completed an integrated General Surgery and Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery program at Emory University, followed by a Fellowship in Hand and Microsurgery at Yale University. She is certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery.
Reconstructive Surgery
Breast reconstruction is no longer considered cosmetic surgery. Thanks to "The Women's Health and Cancer Act of 1998," group health plans, insurance companies, and HMO's that offer mastectomy coverage also must provide coverage for reconstructive surgery after mastectomy. The law dictates that this coverage includes reconstruction of the breast removed by mastectomy, reconstruction of the other breast to produce a symmetrical appearance, breast prostheses, and treatment of physical complications at all stages of the mastectomy, including lymphedema. A federal standard has been set by this law so that women can obtain breast reconstruction following mastectomy even if they live in states that do not require insurance companies to provide this coverage.

Plastic Surgeons

Botox
Botox is administered by Dr. Waitze and is a simple, non-surgical treatment that is used to smooth and soften frown lines between the eyebrows, forehead and crow's feet to restore a more youthful appearance, and lasts 4 months. It can take up to 10 days to work.
Breast Augmentation
What breast lift surgery cannot significantly change the size of your breasts. For this reason, breast lift surgery is often performed in conjunction with a breast augmentation or breast reduction.
Breast Reduction
Breast reduction, or reduction mammaplasty, is an operation where excess tissue and skin are removed from the breasts. The smaller breasts are then reshaped and the nipples are repositioned.
Breast Lift
Also known as mastopexy, a breast lift raises and firms the breasts by removing excess skin and tightening and repositioning the surrounding tissue to create a more youthful and pleasing breast contour. A breast lift can also reduce the size of areolas which have become enlarged over time.
Breast Reconstruction
Breast reconstruction surgery restores the appearance of a woman's breast, usually after mastectomy for breast cancer. There are several breast reconstruction options available ranging from implants to "autologous" techniques which use the patient's own tissue to recreate a "natural", warm, soft breast. The nipple and areola (the darker area surrounding the nipple) can also be restored.
Plastic Surgery
Fees for cosmetic plastic surgery are paid prior to your surgical date. Cost varies and depends on factors including the type and complexity of the operation, if implants were used, where the surgery is performed and what type of anesthetic is administered.
Face Lift
Sculptra is an injectable product administered by Dr. Waitze that restores and corrects the signs of facial fat loss by replacing lost volume. Also known as "the Liquid Face Lift", it provides an increase in skin thickness, helping to create a more natural, youthful appearance. Multiple treatments are needed for noticeable results.
