As I was walking down Cedros, a beautiful knit white sweater caught my eye from a bright and airy store. As I walked inside for further inspection, more and more pieces kept jumping out from their shelves, begging me for my attention. Started in 2000, Weeds strives to offer only natural fiber clothing; linens, cotton, flax and hemps. For the past 11 years, their mission has been to provide unique modern day comfort and design, with yesteryear's quality and materials. Weeds does not fail to impress. Interesting cuts, fabrics and pairings line the effortlessly chic and breezy store. The owners, Elizabeth, Leslie, and Danusia, offer shoppers items made in the USA with a slightly European aesthetic and quality not usually found in most American mass production shops of today. The high quality fabrics and interesting cuts create individual pieces with an understated elegance. They also offer vintage and new jewelry as well.
