SS African Hair Braiding

This place did a good sew in; However when I went back to get it washed they couldn't get my hair back straight the stylist were too busy talking and just not focused and ended up leaving shampoo in my hair. My hair was left in worse condition than when I came.

My experience with the ESTABLISHMENT was great, however, I am completely dissatisfied with my hair. I have had my braids for 2 weeks and 4 braids have fallen out. There are significantly more braids in the front than in the back which makes it hard to do anything but a low ponytail since the hair is so dense and hard to hold in one hand. I did not notice the difference in density while I was at the shop since after 5 hours of sitting and your head pounding you're not thinking about that. As my hair wore, I saw how ill my hair was braided. The Senegalese twists are braid started instead of twist started which looks very amateur. In addition to the fact that she used setting foam go lay down my hair and as the foam has worn off you can see how much of my hair was not twisted properly into my twists.

In addition to this, the girl who did my hair came in on the phone and stayed on the phone almost the entire time while doing my hair.

I will not return here.

Love this place!!! After my last hair stylist flake on me someone had told me about this place so I sent my daughter to get her hair done and they did an awesome job!!!���� So I went and got mine done I will continue to go the were fast and friendly they really treat you like you're part of the family!!!

Went and got my little girl and my hair braided. And they did a wonderful job.This is the place to go too get your hair right.Thanks ladies I enjoy the environment and love our hair.Will be back.

Wow! Great service. Ss African Hair Braiding and the staff were friendly and accommodating. I originally went in for a wash/dry & cornrolls; then I would sew wig in myself since most hair salons in Teneessee seem afraid to do it. BUT the young hairdresser had No problem doing it and she did it efficiently and quickly. Hope this place stays around so I can have a permanent place to get my hair done.

I just got Sengalese Twists that came out absolutely gorgeous! Unlike other braiding spots I have been to,there was no wait ,the ladies were on time,and it was CLEAN.The two ladies who worked on my hair were professional,friendly,and considerate.I was out of there faster than I had anticipated.I got compliments and questions about who did my hair from everyone I have come into contact with.I am very happy with the results and would recommend this place to anyone!

I got tree braids from this place and they came out the same week. Braids are expensive and they should last. My friends have had tree braids and they have lasted up to 2 months. Will not go back to this place. I lost $130 plus tip.

The ladies at this shop rock. Unlike some African braid shops in the area, they have what it takes to make a customer happy. The shop is clean, the quoted price is what you pay, and they greet you when you walk in. I would recommend coming to their shop. You can like their FB page and view the photo gallery.

I really like this place; it was very clean and professional. I got to the shop a 5pm at my appointment time and was done before 10pm on a Friday night. I got some Senegalese twist for $150 and they provided the hair. What I like the most is that they did not braid my hair so darn tight like other places I have been before. I love Love Love my hair.
