The Border Mexican Restaurant

Our party of 6 came in for an early dinner before heading to the Braves game. After traveling from Florida, we were craving tacos, so we checked out Yelp and decided to give the place a try. We had great service from Cesar, who quickly brought chips and salsa to our table, followed by a pitcher of margaritas. Everyone enjoyed the food, though the carnitas were just a tad bland. The food was very good overall, but the service was great, so we felt the 4th star was warranted.

My husband and I used to go to this place a lot years ago. When we moved to a different county and returned it just didn't seem the same. Last month my sister and I were in the area and I'm glad we stopped. Their enchiladas were just as good as I originally remember them being before! My sister enjoyed her tacos and burrito. There always seems to be drink specials, however, I didn't get one this day. This place will be a plus to those who will attend the Braves home games and want a place to get good food outside of the stadium.

The food is great, the service is awesome and the margaritas as the best in the area. I'm there several times a month, I love it!

My husband and I first visited the border over a year ago, when we were craving somewhere with chips & salsa.. and we've gone back almost every two weeks! My favourite is the enchiladas verdes, while my hubs gets enchiladas supremas. Often a little different each week, but always great. We love that we're greeted like family- and the staff is ALWAYS friendly and smiling.

Had Pappasito's grill and tres leches cake. The mixed grill was a skewer of shrimp, beef and peppers, plus grilled chicken on a bed of grilled onions and served w/ chimichurri sauce, butter and rice and beans. The chicken and beef were tender, juicy and well charred. The shrimp was also grilled perfect, and the accompanying sauces just added the flavor parade. This is definitely worth ordering again.The tres leches cake was a great sponge for the sweet milk sauce and disappeared fairly quick.

Pretty good cliche tex-mex food spot. I do recommend though to just more so come here to drink and for appetizers or some type of veg dish. I had the fish tacos when I came and let's just say the next few days I spent very sick. However I will give them credit that the margaritas are very good and decent priced. You do also get huge portions for what u order so I do think it's worth it. Not letting my sickness from the tacos deter me from coming back here since they do have 10$ pitchers of beer and $15 pitcher of margaritas. Recommended- just stick with a veg dish and alcohol.

I went here and expected the worst. I went with a co-worker that had never been before. We arrived at 5:15pm on a Saturday and the place was dead. I have to say we got a pitcher of margaritas that were great but not strong enough for my taste. The food was great. We both ate everything. The waiter was friendly and returned often to make sure we had what we needed. There were a lot of kids in the restaurant and I was surprised to see that. After we were there 2 hours the parking lot was full and people were lined up waiting for parking. I will definitely return.
