Meadows Dental Associates

Dr. Meadows is nice and his staff is friendly, but he is ALWAYS overcharging and trying to up-sell. I recently had a dental emergency for an partial retainer while my implant healed, and instead of Dr. Meadows giving me an exam to see what could be done, his team immediately saw it as an opportunity to sell me orthodontics treatment and sell me a whole new retainer. Or when I tried to get a quote on my new crown replacement, his staff said it would be $1,200. When I called my old dentist in MD, he stated it would be $450. That's a dramatic difference. Dr. Meadows is a pretty good dentist, but he take advantage of his patients and is always trying to overcharge them. I love supporting the African American community, but I will have to take my business elsewhere. DO NOT get caught up in the hype, your pockets $$$ will suffer.

Do not go to this doctor!!! Went in for a cleaning and told me I had two cavities that needed to be filled. Went in to what I thought was an easy procedure, but I was wrong. A few days after I had my fillings done I began to experience horrendous pain, to make matters worse I went on vacation the following weekend, which was near ruined due to the extensive amount of pain. Upon returning home I made an appointment to have a follow up. Dr meadows told me my fillings were too high and needed to be drilled down to adjust my bite. He told me to take Motrin and I would feel better within a few days. The day after I was in the most pain I have ever experienced, could barely do anything, called dr. meadows and he prescribed me an anti-imflammatory and ibuprofen 800. My parents decided to call another dentist that was recommended and it turns out I had a void in one filling (it was not sealed correctly) while the other tooth that was giving me the pain had a pulp/nerve exposed and needed an immediate root canal that was very traumatic and expensive. I not only wasted my time and money with Dr. Meadows but he put me through one of the worse experiences I have ever had to deal with. Not to mention he was very unprofessional, commenting on weekend plans with the nurse throughout entire procedure. DO NOT GO HERE
