I am definitely recommending AG Fireplace Services to my friends and family. Here's what happened...



I had water leaking from somewhere around the chimney causing stains and rot on my ceiling above the fireplace. I did go on the roof my and tried to fix the flashing but water would kept making its way into the house. I called one Chimney Company and one roofer. The first chimney company said I needed to rebuild my chimney, gave me an estimate for $12,000 and then when I wouldn’t sign up for the work, they charged my $89 for an inspection , which is really HIGH. The roofing company said I need a new roof and I was pretty pissed off at that point because I felt like he was lying to me. So told the guy to get out of my house.



So I did some more looking around, more phone calls and I couldn’t find anyone help me. However, my last phone call I made was to AG Fireplace. I called the guy and he came out the very same day. The guy's name is Anthony. I explained to him what my problem was and what happened with the other companies. All he said to me was hold on, I'm going on the chimney, give me 5 minutes.



5 minutes later, he came down, showed me a few pictures and said all I have to do is put a chimney cap on and fix the crown, so I did it, the price was good and only took him 1 hour. Though, I think the best thing is the next day he came back and water tested the chimney with my hose. Spend like 30 minutes up there checking everything out.



So my water leaking problem is gone. He fixed it. No chimney rebuilding, no new roof. Just fixed the crown and put a cap on it.

This is a very good company and I will recommend it to all my friends. The chimney sweep who came to my home was so respectful, very knowledgeable, and what I think was the best part... not a single mess made on my white carpet.

I call and got an appointment for the every next day. That's nice. The guy that showed up was very nice and is the owner. Cleaned my chimney, put a chimney cap on, fixed my flashing and was quick about it too. Thanks for the good service and I'll call you next year.
