General Info

City of Shreveport City Court provides judgments on crimes committed in Shreveport, La. The court has several divisions that include civil division, probation office, and criminal and traffic violations divisions. The court provides judgments on a variety of civil matters, evictions, and cases of family problems and peace bonds. Additionally, the court has jurisdiction over violations of city ordinances and concurrent jurisdiction over state misdemeanor cases. Its criminal and traffic violations division collects payments for traffic violations answers inquiries concerning court dates and fines; and provides reports on traffic convictions to the Louisiana Office of Motor Vehicles.
