Down South Cajun

Food is great. Service is not great. Plus they don't take orders after 8:30. Hope they fix the customer service problem.

Horrible, I called in lunh order around 11:05am and when I got there my order wasn't ready until 11:30! The service is rude and the food is overpriced and it is not very good. I won't be going there again for my lunch break or dinner.

I tried to call in a to go order at 8:34 they said they do not do to go orders after 8:30. When i tried to speak the "manager" spoke over me and ended up hanging up on me when i questioned the fact there were no to go orders after 8:30 even though I was 3 mins away and told her that I was that close. Will never try them and would suggest that their "manager" and i put that in quatations bc she isnt a very good manager, try to get some customer services skills. no down home cajun for me .. I am only giving them the one star b/c i cant save without giving at least one. i would give them zero.

Enjoyed the seasoning and flavor of the food. Only thing I didn't like was the gravy to me was to loose. The tartar sauce was the best yet I have taste. It's taste like a mix of Freemans and Harris and brothers seafood. It brought back the taste mostly of freemans. Can see myself going back there.

The food brought back memories! !!! Best seafood/soulfood in Shreveport Bossier and they don't use that cheap Vietnam fish that taste like crap (swai fish). Monkhouse and brothers better watchout.......Customer service was also great! !!!!
