Bella African Hair Braiding

Do not I repeat do not use them.. they have horrible time management and don't do your hair how you ask.. I stopped coming here because of this then after my coworker came in with her hair done by Bella and said she didnt have her wait or anything I decided to try her again after 3 years only because my regular lady Fefe at Bossou African hair braiding (her and her shop is amazing) is out of town. Huge mistake she didn't do what I asked her to do then got mad when I complained after I told her 3 times she wasnt doing it how I wanted.. NEVER AGAIN

I am in love with my Senegalese Twists Mrs. Bella is professional, considerate and a perfectionist .Although my style took a while it was worth the wait. FYI the guy did an amazing job also big shout to him for all his hard work.

I wish I had read the latest review, wow the same thing happen to me. After 1 month, I notice braids was not tied, they were coming apart. I drove 1 1/2 hour just to try her out. The first attempt she did not even recognize me , she ask, oh you do your hair here , I replied yes, she said oh come back , the next week I did go back and yes , I wad late, I apologize, she said come back, the last attempt was Mardi Gras , I arrived 1 hour early, she said oh my sister did not come I have / other someone, now mind you I was only getting the front overv because of riding on a float, she told me to come back at 9 that night, I told her , she knew I drive a little distance just for this , she could of call, I did not receive an apology , return call , NOTHING,this is not how you retain business or create customer loyalty

Saving $$$$$ isn't always GOOD!! After calling around Bella African Braiding was a less $$$......but I wish I wouldn't trust them $170(service)+$60(hair).....out of all the years of getting my hair braided this was the worst.First off I had so many of my braids not tied @ the end so now I'm missing some,than thru out my hair they left hair unbraided,my braids are not even,and mostly in the back tooo much of my hair was used in the braid instead of the human hair so I can't wear them down cause its just ugly as f:'(ck ...... after 3 people in my head I was @ the shop from 3pm-2:30am in a bad storm.After I told the owner(Bella)that I wasn't pleased with my hair she said she would redo them......after me calling and going up there she still is giving me the run around I'm still waiting on that phone call.......yes they are sweet and not rude but is not the best braid shop in shreveport unless u got $$$$ to waist

I took my two girls to get their hair braided at Bella's today. Our first time there. One of my girls got a basic scalp braid and the other got twist. People I tell you this. This woman did an excellent job on my little girls hair. I have never seen anybody twist look so beautiful. I had twist in my hair recently, also done by my African sister and it didn't come close to looking this magnificently. One thing, be prepared to spend more hours than you expect there because they do work slow but that's because they are perfecting their craft. They are a bit expensive people, but after you see the results, it will be worth it..

I really enjoyed getting my hair done. She was professional, friendly, and quick. There are two ladies who want to please their customers. I took my daughter there and some of her friends went to get their hair done too. I will definitely continue to support this shop.
