Food was delicious, and many compliments from our guests about the catering. Delivery was prompt and driver was polite, everything was so pleasing to the eye as well as delicious! We will use them again.

The food from Cutting Edge Catering in Shorewood was a HUGE success at our baby shower this weekend. Everyone was raving about the food and they were all asking me where I got it.
When planning the event, Chad listened to what we needed and was never pushy and provided pictures of what everything would look like.
All the food came in beautiful dishes (plastic but still pretty) and ready to serve. The driver was so nice and he set up our trays for us with a smile.
The fruit, veggies and cheeses were displayed beautifully. And we could tell the sandwiches and rolls were freshly made that morning. Everyone had a nice plate of food.
I couldn’t have asked for a better presentation. And I love that I DIDN’T HAVE TO COOK! Thanks for making our celebration perfect.

Cutting Edge Catering & events catered my Daughters wedding at the Barber and Oberwortmann Horticultural Center and the food and service were Excellent. All of the employees did a great job and were very concerned and friendly. Everyone involved was right on time with everything Thank you again Jeff

We hired this caterer for a small family Christmas party. I only had a couple of days to arrange for food, and Cutting Edge came through. The food was delivered right on time, and hot. The delivery person arranged everything, and made sure we were satisfied with the arrangement of the food. Very pleased and would hire them again. I also felt they had a nice variety of food to choose from for the price range.

We just had Cutting Edge cater our employee Christmas luncheon and were very pleased with the food. We would recommend them and we certainly plan to hire them again! The employees stated that this was the BEST food we ever served them.

Working with Chad was an experience we will not forget. We met a bride and her groom months before we decided on our venue (BOHC) and she couldn’t say enough great things about the venue and Chad. We did decide on BOHC because it was beautiful! Of course we had no idea what to do next! Chad quickly gave us direction. Our wedding experience seemed to have been one of the easiest projects we could have done. Chad had answers and ideas for us along with wonderful recommendations. Speaking with Chad, he has a very calming personality and we really felt as though our wedding day was in the best hands. If there was something my husband and I didn’t mention, Chad made sure to bring it to our attention. He never once made us feel like he was selling a product to us. Our tasting was a fantastic event in itself. He shared ideas of what food combinations might go better than another and in all honesty- his recommendations were right. We had interviewed several people for our DJ and I can tell you, there are some interesting people out there! Mike, the DJ from Better Than A Jukebox was amazing. We loved him from the moment we met him. While sitting with Mike, you can feel his desire to make this the best moment of our lives. He was honest and simple, not a lot of talk but a lot of doing. At BOHC, the setting was perfect, there really was nothing for us to run around and do before hand. We were able to bring things over ahead of time and the staff put everything exactly where needed. The wedding site was beautiful and the reception room was perfect. The food was delicious and served timely. We didn’t hear any grumblings from our guests (and we would have if needed). The tables were spacious and the spacing was roomy. Plenty of room to dance and Mike providing music that had us all dancing all night long. We couldn’t have asked for service and we highly recommend Cutting Edge. They really know what they are doing with many compliments from our guests.

I would not recommend. We ordered 8 platters of the gourmet sandwiches, the main portion of a luncheon for 150 adults. We came home with 5 of the platters. The sands were dry with very little spread. Use your favorite sandwich shop. Not this catering company.

We've used Cutting Edge multiple times and they have been fantastic every time! The food arrives on time, is fresh and warm (if you've ordered it warm of course!) and flavorful! You won't find a better catering company!

I was a guest and was served by Barbara at the above event in Joliet, Il. on last Saturday evening.I was pleasantly surprised at how promptly and courteously we were served.I have attended many wedding receptions and banquets of difference sizes. I have never been served more promptly thanwe were served last Saturday. The food was prompt and tasty and the hot dishes were hot as they should have been!As a guest, I just wanted to commend you and your staff on a great job

The food is delicious, the staff is courteous and accommodating and they really go the extra mile to ensure everything is taken care of exactly as planned. The wedding was one of the best I've attended. Since the wedding, I began using Cutting Edge for our corporate events and meetings. They offer a wide variety of options; everything is always delivered fresh and timely. Our employees can't say enough good things about the food. They have options for just about any budget. I was also happy to hear they cater smaller business meetings. I highly recommend calling Chad at Cutting Edge Catering for weddings and corporate events. He is easy to work with and does a great job of outlining price, options and availability.

I hired Cutting Edge Catering to cater my wedding after they catered an event at my work. I was very happy with their service and the office staff was friendly and helpful. I don't think I could have asked for a better caterer to hire. They made sure everything was just right for my reception and the food was great too. Our staff that night was friendly and I heard several of my guests compliment them. Their prices were fair and I would definitely recommend them to others looking for a great caterer for any event.

We had our Civil Union and reception at the Barber and Oberwortmann Horticultural Center in Joliet, Il and Cutting Edge Catering was AWESOME !!! From start to finish Chad and his staff made everything flow easily. The planning stage was smooth and the reception was like a dream. Chad was always available for my numerous questions and concerns and put me at ease. The day of the reception the food was even more delicious than the taste test, all the staff extremely friendy and helpful and the hall looked like a dream all set up. All of our special requests were carried out without a hitch and not a single problem arose. We are EXTREMELY HAPPY with EVERYTHING !!!! We highly recommend Cutting Edge for the perfect event !!!!
