Poor experience! Make sure you ask about all their requirements before falling in love with a dog to adopt! We decided to try to adopt a little puppy here, fell in love with one spent over an hour with her only to be rejected! I understand why (still disagree, as we've adopted 2 puppies (small breeds) with the same home and work schedule as now. Both were crate, potty, and obedient trained along with a lot of tricks and fun things to teach a dog. Both turned out far better than we could have ever expected!)

So now I have a heart broke daughter balling in her room... :(

To the business owner: TIP: you might consider typing up a pre-qualification checklist and hand it out at the door to potential adopters before this type of thing happens again. Easily avoidable...

2 of the worse things I don't like seeing let alone experiencing: an un-adopted pet and a heart-broken child!

We'll being adopting a puppy elsewhere I guess... :(
