Farmers Home Furniture

Ordered a chair in Dec. Received it in March. All kinds of excuses. Sent to wrong store had to be rebuilt. Chair lasted 2 days short of 1 year. Made with fiber board. They say it was received a month before we got it. Will not honor warranty. Will not shop there any more, hope this is of some warning to someone else thinking of buying from them.

Shady! be weary of displays being delivered as New! I purchased 2 NEW Recliners and was told it wold take a week for them to arrive from their warehouse!

I paid in full plus a $59.00 + tax delivery fee! when the recliners showed up they were both USED DISPLAY MODELS the exact same ones we looked at when we ordered the new ones!

I immediately went to the store to confront them on the Bait a switch they pulled!

Because they did not call me to see if the USED recliners were OK?

They just delivered them! one had Glitter on it and the plastic string the store price tag was attached to still on it!

The other had damage from use to the foot rest!

When I arrived to ask what they thought they were doing the manager said he didn't know me and didn't know what I was talking about?

My first thought was is this a regular practice? if he doesn't remember authorizing a display swap out?

He then said they were never ordered because a mistake on their part (He knew what I was taking about!)

I'm just going to give you your money back! No I wouldn't let him BS me or talk he tried but had nothing but excuses He said "(Are you perfect? I'm Not!)" !

I refused the refund and demanded the furniture I paid for!! I had already arranged to get rid of my couch,

The sales man knew we were both Disabled and not having anywhere to sit if we took the refund was not a option!!!

We couldn't just go buy somewhere else a $1000.00 is a lot of money for people on SSDI!



I am waiting to see if our new furniture gets delivered next week and if they offer a refund of some sort on the delivery charge or discount on the recliners for what they pulled and thought I would not notice! But I did shame on you!! I wasn't born yesterday!

I've bought home furnishings here for quite some time now & this store just keeps getting better and better! New manager with a background in interior design helped me completely redo my great room and I love it! Always nice to do business with them!

I don't usually take the time to review businesses, but this place is worth it. My wife and I had been everywhere looking for living room furniture when we decided to stop by. As soon as we walked in we were greeted by a smiling face. The lady said she was there to help, not harass, and I appreciated that. There's nothing worse than feeling like you're being stalked while shopping. She asked about our space and helped us find just what we needed. We were able to finance with no problem, and had our new stuff within the week. The staff here is willing to go the extra mile, and we will definitely be back!
