Cascade Outdoor Power Equipment

My mower stopped running and I called him to fix it. Long story short when done he charged me 250 to replace a solenoid telling me that over 150 dollars of labor was due to the complicated electronics in a lawn mower. Right. I had to leave so couldn't really argue about the issue. The mower ran ten feet and died again. I had an auto mechanic friend come out, took him ten minutes to pin point that the replaced solenoid was still the problem. I called the owner, he argued vehemently with me about his work. Ultimately I had to leave the country for vacation and then got hurt and rehabbed for several months and lost the paperwork otherwise I would have fought to get my money back. 3 hours of labor at a ridiculous price to find something another mechanic could fine in ten minutes. Plus replace it with a faulty part. Yup- go anywhere else. This guy needs to be shut down. Since then I have heard many other verbal warnings about this guy from neighbors, wish I had of known beforehand!!

What a crook!!! My husband dropped off our mower, paid $40 deposit and after a week received a quote of $111 (plus the deposit) to put in new gas tank and carburetor... nooooo thanks... my husband went to pick it up, THEN found out that Cascade guy has ALREADY replaced the above with "cleaned-up" OLD parts, he confessed once my husband was there. After dropping off the mower we received such bad reviews from others who had used this guy, we were awfully leary of anything he was going to do..
