John L Scott Property Mgmt

Looks like the other reviews here are positive, but prior to Michele and Lori. We are absolutely disgusted with our experience with John L. Scott Metro Property Management. They do a very poor job of communicating with the owner and the renter. It was difficult to get a call back when we would leave voicemail. When they did communicate with us, there were blatant contradictions in their statements. Additionally we feel they did not hold up to their end of the contract.

Lori sat in our house and explained that a property management company prevents us from having to deal with the tenant and the potentially difficult situations, but as soon as we ran into the first sticky situation with the tenant, they terminated our contract, after deducting the tenant’s outstanding bill from our rent payment, with no prior notification to us that they were taking that money.

We hired this company to manage the property for us to reduce our headaches, but it was John L. Scott themselves who gave us the biggest headache.

Michael has made me the calmest I' ve been in months! The tenant late fees are gone and refunded, and he is always making sure that operations are running smoothly for our place in Issaquah. He deserves a raise, and I told him that myself. Thank you for solving all of my rental issues!

John L. Scott is lucky to have Michael Schultz on their team. He gave very prompt and professional responses to all o f my questions, and he made the process simple. Service is everything when dealing with the public. Michael passed his service test with flying colors.

I signed a contract in August 2009 and he found a client who moved in October 2009. My experience with him has been very pleasant and I would recommend him as a responsible and trusty property manager.
