Goodyear Auto Service Center

I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. I went in for a brake issue, the estimate was for around $1000. When I didn't just jump at this, I was told I could easily get a Goodyear credit card to help pay. After saying that I wanted to take my car somewhere else for another estimate, they panicked and sent me a new estimate, this time for $580. I compared what they were charging for parts against prices I could find online. I was somewhat content to see that what they were now charging for parts was near to what was listed. When I compared the numbers against the 1st estimate, they tried to charge 3-4 times the list price! They also cut out a lot of labor charges that I can only assume were bogus as well, because, in the end, they fixed my problem in about 2 hours. I understand that in the car world that this is standard practice, but such a clear case of trying to take advantage of someone is inexcusable, especially from a national, "reputable" company.
