Merlion Thai Restaurant and Lounge

The best Thai food I've had yet, just hate waiting for my check when I was finished. The corner that I was in could have had a bit more lighting so that I could read the menu & wine list better.

Okay I will say that before I go slamming criticism - I will say excellent customer service and great wine list . Okay my first problems was the Tom soups were very watery, almost no veggies and had a slight scent of wet dog with aside of white rice thrown on the plate next to the bowl, so presentation not good. Although the bar is beautiful it is uneven and eating a plate with a bowl well is tricky and the knee space under the bar very limited for and I kept hitting the rock type wall- ouch. I had the corn cakes for the appetizer - although cooked with care the spices overpower the other flavors and all I tasted was hot. I have to give it a thumbs down due to the poor food quality- recommend someone who knows how to cook Thai food!
