I have had my pool water tested and have purchased pool chemicals from Lorrison year after year. I have been an attentive and faithful customer.



With that being said, today I noticed that a new sign was up that said 'UNDER NEW MANAGEMENT'. When I walked in, I watched as a woman ripped a veteran for asking for veteran donations. I was sort of blown back and thought - wow... this woman has issues.



I then proceeded to ask for a water sample test, which has always been free. I picked up some additional equipment for my pool and waited patiently in line. This woman then proceeded to talk to customers about her previous employer (some law firm in the Charleston area), and how bad she hated everyone there. She talked about her previous employment as a paralegal. Don't get me wrong, but this is not the way to welcome customers... by exuding a negativity and spreading hateful information about past employers - talk about non-professional! As I stood there, I wondered if she quit working for a law firm, or if she was fired. LOL!



Before all of this, I had tested my pool water and found that the chlorine levels were off the charts. In any event, I was told that I had NO chlorine in my pool water sample and that I needed to purchase all sorts of chemicals. I then politely asked for some ph-up and was then dismissed by this woman (she says she is the owner), and was told (in a rather nasty way), that I would need to drain half of my pool! LOL! This "owner" evidently doesn't know her basic pool chemistry. I was then asked for 15.00 for the pool water sample! I literally felt disgust for this business and it is within walking distance from my home. As I started to write the check for the equipment and water sample, I had to stop, rip the check up and quietly leave the premises.



I NEVER doing business with this witless management and their negative, arm twisting approach to "helping" customers. I'm taking my business to Leisure World from now on... yeah, it's a longer drive, but believe me... its worth it!



P.s., If you still like doing business with Lorrison, please send me information on how many gallons your pool is and how much you paid for chemicals. I need a good laugh every now and then. ;-)
