Without a doubt the best experience with a residential HVAC company ever! I was fortunate to have Steven out to my house for an AC problem. Not only Steven fix the problem promptly, he even stayed and did some cleanup to fill the initial hour I paid for the service. It is a pleasure to have an honest, courteous rep like Steven restore my faith in the Residential AC service industry. I've torn off the decal of my previous service provider (good riddance to them!) and will only do business with a professionally run local company like Sean Mccutcheon.

I've had 2 occasions to call Sean McCutcheon: Once as a second opinion on the possible replacement of an entire unit, and once on an emergency call when the unit stopped functioning. On BOTH occasions, the service tech was prompt and got straight down to business. On the visit regarding the second opinion, the tech spent about 70 minutes exploring the unit AND explaining what he saw and how he was coming to his recommendation. He did NOT try to upsell me into a new unit. On the second visit, I placed an emergent call after hours on a weekday night. They had a tech on site in an hour, and the problem remedied within 20 minutes. My tenant nor I could be any happier. Sean McCutchen has earned my future HVAC business....and will get it.

I cannot tell you how impressed I am with Sean McCutcheon's Air Conditioning and Heating.



Recently we purchased a short sale home that had been sitting vacant for almost 2 years. The yard was so overgrown that roof rats were able to easily access the attic and totally take over. The rodents ripped to shreds most of the Air Conditioning Duct work so that cold air was pouring into the attic. The Air Conditioning unit that was previously installed was incredibly inefficient to say the least.



Sean McCutcheon's Air Conditioning and Heating totally removed all ductwork and not only installed new ductwork - but added more returns and properly configured the whole system so all areas are now equally cooled. Best of all - they installed a Bryant Hi-Efficiency unit that will not only save us much money - but looks like a piece of art. As an added bonus we qualified for a very nice tax rebate.



The professionalism and courteousness of the technicians is exemplary. From the moment they stepped through the door they put down plastic to walk on and whenever they touched walls they wore latex gloves. Every bit of work was carefully planned and executed to perfection. It is a pleasure seeing professionals at work.



Someone should film them working so other Air Conditioning companies can use it to train their employees. Their customer service is the finest in the industry - they do not leave the job until the client is 110% satisfied. I have been honored to work with Sean and his crew over the last 4 years and I'm glad I was finally able to have them install an Air Conditioning System. I know I have the best and I go out of my way to recommend them to anyone who appreciates quality work (and saving money on their electric bill).

I had an appointment at between 3:30-4pm 2 days ago with them telling me they would call 1/2-1 hour out before arriving. Not only did they NOT show up, they never even called and my husband made a point to be home for them. Apparently Sean McCutcheon's doesn't think anyone else's time has any value. I will NEVER use them!!!

For the last 7 years, I have had a service contract with another AC company where they came out every 6 months to inspect and service my AC system. Last week, my AC system stopped blowing cold air and that company came out and told me my AC system was dead and I needed a new one for more than $2,000. I called Sean McCutcheon's AC for their "free second opinion" and, although it was late Friday afternoon, McCutcheon AC came right out, inspected and found a TINY DEAD BUG BLOCKING THE ELECTRICAL CONNECTION. After he removed the tiny dead bug, the sysytem worked fine and I didn't need a new system at all but when I do, I will definitely buy it from Sean McCutchenon's AC. They are professional and honest!!

A great AC Company! The technicians at Sean McCutcheon’s Air Conditioning and Heating are down to earth and have common sense. They will tell you what the problem is and what needs to be done to fix it – simple as that. I would never think of calling any other AC company!

Sean McCutcheon’s came highly recommended – and I’m glad I called them. They are honest, professional, and will tell you how it is. They don’t try to fix anything that isn’t broken. They are the number one AC company in the Sarasota area for a reason – do yourself a favor and find out for yourself.

I am a person who gets very annoyed in our world of LACK of customer service. I was in need of service for a air conditioning unit at my work that was just not cooling well at all . And there is nothing like an 80 degree office when you have patients... I am very leary about the A/C buisness, because it seems like they just want to always tell you that you need a new unit.( which is only $6,000.00) I would know since I know some of the owners of these types of buisnesses. I called Sean McCutchen's Air Conditioning and heating, and much to my surprise I had somone out in less than 24 hours and during the lunch hour when I had no patients in the office too. The service was fantastic, prompt and the employee was great about explaining the issues and my choices.

Yes, CHOICES..... I was so impressed with the fact that I actually have a choice, it wasn't this what is going to happen and like it.And I wasn't told that I need a new unit....Which some companies will try to tell you.

The trustworthy service, prompt timing and the concern for coming at the best time for me was fantastic. Not to mention the follow up call I received making I was happy and that the air conditioning unit was workign as expected.

I can not say enough good things about this company. "Except there is no toehr A/C company with the kind of service!"

I don't normally write reviews like this but your service was so fantastic I just had to write. I had two other companies out to look at my air conditioner prior to your company. Your tech was the only one to take the time to really explain what was wrong and to give me options. I chose your company and I'm glad I did. You took care of my problem right away. Your service guy was very courteous and conscientious about my house. He took great care not to make a mess. He even brought in freshly laundered drop clothes. I couldn't believe.



Thanks again for your great service. You'll have me as a customer for life.
