This place LAS PALMAS CONDO is Horrible. I'm a professional. I'm very quiet and stay to myself. My sister came for a family funeral -arrived late at night. At the time no visitors parking were marked. We woke up the next morning and her car had been towed. By the time we got things worked out and returned with her car, they had LITTERALLY "just painted" the visitor signs. There ws NO WARNING NOTE to not park there, or to go get a visitor pass- which I didn't know was needed - NO NOTE ON CAR - just towed! $250! Can you imagine? When I talked with the Manager I was told that's the way they do things. Believe it or not, 3 months later, my car was towed along with 20+ other cars in one night because we didn't have 2012 stickers. I had a sticker from moving in a fewmonths earlier. I had no idea you had to get one in January. No notice that new stickers were required. No note in mailbox...no notice on the car windshield or on my door.....Just towed. Many people were in the office that morning reising holy h---!! I was told it was posted on the Marquee....which i don't read......can't see to read while I'm driving around a corner to turn into the place. Again. the management was cold and very terse. The other writer is correct, you can hear everything that goes on in the units around you including laughing, yelling, laundry, toilet flushing, etc. The place is not kept up very well - as for the exterior upkeep i would rate it a C-/D. This is "apartment" living at its most typical. Certainly NOT up to Sarasota standards. I'm not surprised half the place is empty. The location is great, but that is all it has going for it. I moved before my lease was up because i felt like I was living on the wrong side of the tracks. If you move in, you'll probably be pretty happy if you have low standards.

this place is a joke. Walls are paper thin. Plumbing is horrific(cracking gurgling sounds from other condos) Security is the property manager. Placing hard to remove parking stickers on cars that do not have the proper passes on cars in the midddle of the night. Cameras are on property But mostly at the managers residence. Therefore the rest of us are on our own in protecting our property. Sliding glass doors are soo heavy, they make alot of noise. The front doors to the condos have a very hard slam. Maybe when you feel the need. Most of the people are very nice. So this makes things Ok.
