        Overall

        Great showroom. So many products to choose from in there. Always a nice place to be in the winter time to warm up. Neighbors got a fireplace there for a new house that they built and recommended them because of how well it turned out.

        More details are posted on Yelp. They have a great selection of fireplaces. Stoves are not technically complex to install I think, and probably the same is true for a fireplace insert. But we purchased a gas fireplace for new construction. The installation support was very poor. They made two significant mistakes in installing the fireplace and provided incorrect information to us and our contractor twice on two other matters. They don't take any responsibility for advising on what is a fairly involved installation process, particularly in preparing the location. Their knowledge of their products is shockingly poor.

        I am sorry that you were unhappy with Warming Trends and felt inclined to post such a negative review. We pride ourselves in our product knowledge. As a group we have over 100 years of hearth experience. We offer the best products available and with that comes strict product training directly from the manufactures. I feel that our product knowledge is second to none. Obviously you were unhappy with it and I do apologize for that. Our follow up and service department is here specifically to answer any technical questions that may arise that are beyond the sales staff. Typically contractors and installation based questions go to that area of the store. We have at least one person in that area in the store all day everyday. Possibly that is where the breakdown in your case took place. It seems that the correct person wasn't doing the question answering for you. Also I can assure you that installation of any hearth product whether wood or gas is neither simple, basic, or non complex. When dealing with something that creates fire, runs on combustible gas, and creates fumes that can be lethal we take them very seriously and only offer exactly the information that the manufacture who tested and approved the appliance offers us. Once again I want to apologize for whatever took place in your situation. Since there wasn't a name associated with the review, I cannot follow up any further to see if I can isolate the issue.         A+ for Warming Trends

        Just wanted to pass along some information on Warming Trends to anyone looking to upgrade their old wood stove or fireplace. We had an old brick fireplace and were looking to save money on LP gas heating costs. We did some shopping around but Warming Trends was the way to go, they had the nicest showroom and what we think were the best wood stoves. We were treated nicely in the showroom both times we were in, price seemed more than fair and they do there own installations which was really nice. Ordered and scheduled right then, unit is installed and burning right now. We can't believe the heat it puts out. We chose a Morso 5660 insert with the intention of heating around 900 square feet, it easily handles that and we are very happy with it so far. Thought it was nice to send along some kind words because most reviews posted are bad ones. We would recommend Warming Trends everytime.
