Crystallume is among the pioneers in the development and application of chemical vapor deposition diamond technology. The company features solutions for cutting tools and hard coating operations. It primarily serves the defense, manufacturing, medicine and computing markets. Crystallume s Diamond Coated Carbide technology produces continuous diamond coating that contains the chemical and physical properties of natural and synthetic diamonds. The company develops ThunderBolt, Deep Captivity and MoldMaker tools, as well as drills, inserts, end mills, routers and aircraft supplies. Its products are employed in a wide range of milling and graphite electrode and mold manufacturing activities. Crystallume was founded in 1984 and is based in Santa Clara, Calif. It is a division of RobbJack Corporation.
