far west has a great selection of firearms But they are very pricey you can go to goleta valley and see rick and get the same guns for a very more affordable price not to mention their payment plans suck because they dont exist. ive bought all my guns and accesories from goleta valley. lastly the gentleman was talkin about how civilians should not own guns. i find that funny cuz it turns out a couple years ago farwest was in trouble for selling guns under the table they sold guns to an undercover A.T.F agent

I'm inspired to write after reading the first review, very inaccurate. First, she thinks that a revolver and a handgun are two different types of guns. I believe she wanted a 9mm semi-automatic HANDGUN; a revolver is ALSO a handgun. And in fact, the semiautomatic would be a bad idea for her; since she hasn't taken the time to learn the difference, I shudder to think of her having the ability to fire a very lethal weapon repeatedly in seconds. 9mm is not a deterrent either, it is a killer. Taurus, which she bought, also makes REVOLVERS, handguns also!

This is why we have to have the licensing tests, and on the same day, so what little one learned may still be in the brain. It is, like driver's licenses, too easy. Driver's licenses allow you to make mistakes, possibly injuring or killing someone, 20% of the time! to pass.; Handguns not any better.

What in the world does such an uninformed person and I'll add reviewer #2 need with a 9mm semi? Too much tv. Simply showing ANY handgun is going to stop a criminal, or get you in a shootout which he will probably win unless you've educated yourself and practiced. Personally, I'm opposed to the general public owning them; but I have one because everyone else does! For defense, sport, a rifle is far more accurate and useful. A weapon easily concealed and carried tends to cause trouble from the owner's mind; gets police killed; and hundreds of family members and friends (the most common victims) are killed each year. After shooting their kid, the reaction is, "Gosh, I never thought that could happen".

I was appalled by the two reviews for their ignorance, but I also take issue with the store review. The staff are knowledgable, helpful even when no profit is involved, carry a good stock of rifle, revolver and handguns (oops, I mean semi-automatic pistols, lol). Prices are very good. RECOMMENDED, although occasionally disorganized a bit.
