Sunset Elementary School s staff of reading specialists focuses on various areas, including phonemic awareness, word study, decoding and reading comprehension. The school additionally offers the English Language Learners program. It is governed by the San Ysidro School District, which operates several elementary and middle schools.

        Overall

        I really like this school, I have my daughters and Dual program

        both speak english and spanish very well,

        The teacher's are the Best, the Principal Mr. Burciaga he is friendly

        the kids are motivated to learn and win field trip .
