My little one was sick. I took her to the dr as a walk in. These people kept passing other walk ins that came after me becuase they were complaining it was a school night and they were going to leave. I am a high school student and still go to school too. Then once I am inside the dr gets mad at me for not bring in my child earilier even when the dr skipped our turn to attend other patients. I am a single mother and for the dr to get mad at me for not having the father, my ex husband around is really awful. They are professionals and attend school where they are supposeed to be compassionate in their field of study. They should not assume every family has a teo parent home, one could have pasaed on, left, or have finally gotten out of an abusive relationship. I was greatly disappointed with the care the facility treated my child and me. Will NEVER go back.

My toddler is sick with a lot of cough and congestion and the pharr office said they were no longer taking patients, but the San Juan office was, so I called the San Juan office where they tell me that they don't have a specific time that they stop taking patients, just that the office closes at 12 and as long as I'm there before 11, they will see him. I get there at 10:45 and they tell me they are no longer taking patients. I then tell them what was said to me when I called and they give me this stupid look, like what do you want me to do. Apparently the doctor said no more patients because she wanted to leave. I then explained that we are private pay and since he is an established patient there, I don't want to take him anywhere else because private pay for a new patient is a lot more money. I still get a stupid look from them. I ask, what's one more patient? I'm sorry ma'am, but we can't see him, you can try another Dr.'s office though. Really people? Learn better communication skills and next time don't be telling people that you don't have a certain time that you stop seeing patients, that the office closes at 12 and that as long as I'm there before 11 my child will be seen if you're gonna turn around and do something like this and act stupid about it. Now my son is still sick and I don't know where to take him. He even asked why the doctor didn't want to see him.
