San Jos Public Library is one of the largest public library systems in California. The library stocks an inventory of more than 2 million items available in over 50 languages. It serves nearly I million individuals and operates more than 15 facilities in California. San Jos Public Library organizes Books for Little Hands program, which offers literacy programs for preschool children. It offers public computers with Internet access and basic software applications. The library also provides borrowing, printing, course reserve, early care and education and youth services. In partnership with San Jose State University Library, San Jos Public Library operates SJLibrary.org, which provides access to variety of information databases covering business, health, and literature and test preparation. The library maintains a location in San Jose, Calif.
