Radiation Therapy
Surgical treatment of breast cancer consists of lumpectomy, partial mastectomy or mastectomy. Lumpectomy and partial mastectomy involve surgical removal of the breast tumor and some surrounding normal breast tissue, usually followed by radiation therapy to treat any microscopic cancer cells potentially left behind. Mastectomy removes the entire breast, including the nipple and areola (surrounding pigmented skin) and all breast tissue down to the pectoralis muscle, leaving the breast skin behind. These surgical procedures result in a significant deformity with breast disfigurement and asymmetry.

After completing residency training in general surgery and then plastic surgery, Dr. Gupta completed two more years of highly specialized subspecialty fellowship training. He first completed a year of training in microsurgical reconstruction at the internationally renowned M.D. Anderson Cancer Center in Houston. He then completed another year of advanced aesthetic and breast surgery at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation in Florida.
Wound Care
I had basal cell skin cancer on the end of my nose. I feel so blessed to meet a Doctor with such patience and honesty. He sent me to a great MOHs surgeon who was patient and took his time. The next morning I was scheduled for Dr. Gupta and reconstructive surgery. At 6:30 am I was dressed and ready to start with my wife by my side. Dr Gupta walks in to examine the wound and consult me on the procedure. He calmly examines my wound from the MOHs surgery. To our surprise he says I have two options for you. Have the surgery or follow my wound care instructions and your nose will heal by itself. Ear Surgery
Ear surgery is commonly performed under general anesthesia in children and local anesthesia in adults. The standard otoplasty procedure brings the ears closer to the head. Otoplasty begins with an incision hidden in the crease behind the ear. This incision allows the cartilage located behind the ears to be reshaped in order to position them closer to the head. The procedure takes approximately one to two hours, depending upon the extent of surgery.
Mohs Surgery
5) Mohs micrographic surgery is a relatively new technique used to remove the skin cancer with the least amount of surrounding normal tissue and therefore provides a better cosmetic result. The resection margins are checked immediately and more tissue is removed if tumor cells are found. Therefore, there is no two-week waiting period for pathology results. Most importantly, cure rates are equivalent to standard wide excision. Mohs surgery is performed by a specially trained dermatologist.

Chin surgery is commonly performed along with rhinoplasty (nose surgery). With cheek augmentation, incisions are made either inside the mouth, through the lower cheek, or directly below the bottom eyelid on the high cheek. Cheek surgery is often performed in conjunction with a facelift procedure. Both chin and cheek implant procedures normally last from 30 minutes to one hour.

Thigh Lift
Following the significant amount of weight loss after gastric bypass or lap band surgery, a person can be permanently left with a lot of excess hanging skin, due to the lack of elasticity. Face Lift

Body Lift
The procedure varies with each patient, depending on his or her body type and desired surgical outcome. In more extensive surgeries, the incision goes completely around the waist and lower back. Adjustments to the buttocks and thighs require an incision at the crease of the buttocks. Skin Cancer
Skin cancer is currently the most commonly diagnosed cancer in the world. Unlike many other cancers, skin cancer often spreads very slowly. Only a small minority of those afflicted actually dies of the disease. Skin cancer is a malignant growth of the skin which can have a variety of different appearances. Skin cancers generally develop in the outermost layer of the skin, called the epidermis, so they are usually clearly visible. This makes most skin cancers detectable in the early stages. Most skin cancers are named after the type of skin cell from which they arise. The most common skin cancers are basal cell cancer, squamous cell cancer, and melanoma. Melanoma is less common than basal cell carcinoma and squamous cell carcinoma, but it is the most serious and is the most common cancer in the young population (ages 20-39).
Acne Treatment
Lesions
There are a variety of different skin cancer symptoms and signs depending on the type and location. These can include pain, itchiness, bleeding, a non-healing skin lesion, skin ulceration or discoloration, and changes in existing moles, such as enlargement or change in shape. Basal cell carcinoma usually looks like a raised, smooth, pearly bump on the sun-exposed skin of the head, neck, or shoulders. Sometimes small blood vessels can be seen within the tumor. Squamous cell carcinoma is commonly a red, scaling, thickened patch on sun-exposed skin. Ulceration and bleeding may occur. Most melanomas are brown or black-pigmented lesions that arise within a previous mole. Signs that might indicate a malignant melanoma include a change in size, shape, color, or elevation of a mole. Other signs are the appearance of a new mole during adulthood or new pain, itching, ulceration, or bleeding.
Chemical Peels
A chemical peel is an aesthetic procedure performed to achieve better skin tone and to remove fine lines, especially on the face. The chemical solution removes the outer layers of skin which are damaged by age, sun, acne, wrinkles, or pigmentation problems. Removing the outer skin prompts the body to regenerate a new layer of skin cells which are free of the previous skin condition and thus appear much smoother and younger. Chemical peels may not be appropriate for darker skin complexions.
