We had a main water line leak, so we had to shut off all water to the house. I had already spent two days identifying where the leak was and providing access to the water pipe underground. Installing the fittings looked tricky, so I called Bill Metzger Plumbing on Sunday at about 10:30 am. (I had never used them before and found them on a Google search). Before 3 pm, Jenri "Henry" showed up. He was very friendly, lived locally, and appeared quite competent. Initially, he assessed the work to be done then provided me with a quote that seemed reasonable. He worked super hard for about 4 hours and ran a new line into the house. He did the appropriate pressure testing after the job was complete, and then had to make a couple of minor fixes. I would highly recommend this company for your plumbing needs and they do everything.

We had a problem with a toilet. Bill Metzger Plumbing scheduled a quick and convenient appointment. The technician was knowledgeable and fixed the problem quickly. The pricing was fair and we would definitely use Bill Metzger Plumbing again if needed!

Bill Metzger Plumbing is the Best Plumber in Orange County. We have called on them dozens of times over the last 20 years and have found them to be excellent. This is a really good Orange County plumber. Highly recommend!

Bill Metzger told us to "Do it your F***King self" after we called to ask about an issue they told us they couldn't fix. Absoutely amazed how this business is still surviving, such polarizing reviews all over the internet... We have used them to replace water heaters twice, paying full retail what they asked, and we are treated like THIS when we call to talk to them? Such an attitude and disregard for customer service. I will never recommend this business to anyone. Hopefully this review sees the light of day and advises folks who care about customer service to STAY AWAY.

•OK people, this is just another typical overpriced plumber. I talked to the owner and he gave me a price for a repair that I decided was ok. Then his guy comes out and spends less than an hour running a test. When finished he tells me that the repair will cost about 2 times more then what the owner had told me. I was disappointed again with people taking advantage of others. I then had to pay almost 300 dollars for a simple test so he could tell me this, which nobody mentioned this fee from the beginning. Ok so I call around and find another guy, he told me up front the cost of my repair even without looking at the home. He came out and did the job in a few hours and I paid him what he had told me earlier, which was less than half of Metzger Plumbing. I want us the consumers to get a fair deal. I would not use this guy, and you know as well as I do that Plumbers and water heater companies as well as others, are the biggest rip-offs. Let’s stop these companies from stealing our money.
