Bestard Edward H MD

Dr. Edward Bestard was seriously the worst orthopedic I have ever been to. Not only did he not spend anytime explaining what he saw, but he also spent no time at all getting to know what happened or where my pain was. I felt like I was kicked out of his office. No wonder there was no wait time, its because no one wants to see him. He is unprofessional and doesn't care. If you don't care, retire. I still have pain and he had no solution for me. Nor did I think he diagnosed me correctly. Also, his staff is ignorant in what insurances the office takes. If you have a choice.... DO NOT CHOOSE DR. BESTARD!

Beware of this abusive Dr. My attorney advised and I have filed formal complaints with the state medical board. However I feel the need to share my nightmare experience: Bestard is nothing more than a "hired gun" for workers comp Chubb insurance. Bestard used his hands to manually pushed down my head and then pushed my head down hard and also forced it to the left and right to do a so called test for movement. I have cervical spinal disk bulges from a car accident that limits my neck mobility. I screamed out in pain and bestard mumbled sorry and wrote in his notes that I no longer need a lumbar diskectomy. bestard hurt me during his exam so bad that I was in severe cervical and lumbar spine pain for more than 2 weeks after my visit. I had to double up on my percecet and was bedridden from my spine and neck pain. Before bestard manhandled me, most of my pain was mostly in my lumbar spine with sciatica down my leg. Bestard didn't even look at my mri cds, yet he has the audacity to advise against all 3 of my Real Neuro and Spine surgeons advice who say I do need the surgery asap. Bestard is a retired hand surgeon. He has no business reviewing a Spinal surgery case. My MRI shows herniated discs, spinal stenosis, pinched nerves, list goes on. Bestard is the vicious Dr. Who is paid by Chubb workers comp insurance company to submit his slanted opinion that the insurance company doesnt need to pay for any of my future surgeries or necessary medication. Classic case like the movie Rainmaker -Matt Damon. Bestard should be ashamed of himself. I want to prewarn anyone who is advised to go to this Dr. For a Workers comp review. Bring your attorney or make sure you bring a witness with you. This Dr is clearly so bad that he has an ad on groupon!
