Anything To Do With Doors

Don has the ability to not cut into the drywall to install new railing which is great. Now this is where it gets bad... he gave me a price once he came over the day before which i was comfortable paying. After working on the door he then proceeds to tell me it was more work and that he was going to have to charge me a hourly rate to complete the other doors I had requested him to work on. An hourly rate? This is him telling me he wants to charge me more money than what he actually quoted. The kicker!!!! He calls me 30 minutes prior to arriving at my house. Don is a great man, however, he works slow and is messy with his work. Cutting doors and leaving fine saw dust on my daughters bed is not my idea of clean work not to mention my air condition filters.

I asked thIs guy for a free estimate.
When we met ,he said ,you don't need me to fix that door,you can do it yourself,just buy lock set off internet.just Google it.
To top it off ,he gave his business card to my customer,stepping on my toes,
Very unprofessional.

I had a break in and my door frame was broken, I had always been wanting to fix that door because it was hung incorrectly by the previous owners.They only came and fixed the broken frame on the door, they fixed the door to close right, they sealed it around and left the frame and seal like new. It was a lot of work, but they took their time and did the job and exceeded my expectations. They also put a custom metal fitting on the frame to help avoid further break ins. Very happy with the service, I am not one to usually pay for someone else to work on my house, but in this case it was well worth it.
