On January 6, 2012, I made the mistake of buying this vacuum from this representative of Kirby. I assume the vacuum is good because I have not been able to use it for 6 months. When he was at my home giving me the sales pitch, part which said if I had a problem, just call and leave a message and someone will come by and fix my vacuum. HAHA........I have left message after message, was promised someone would be by.........mostly no reponse....... I finally had to take it to the vacuum store in Midland, of which the San Angelo number said they did the warranty work. ANOTHER LIE. I can pick it up this next week. 325-315-8973 is the number I called, left many messages. I finally asked if I could return this vacuum for 1/2 of my money back. NO RESPONSE>>>>>>>What a surprise. My mother had a Kirby, and it was still be used long after she was gone. I know they are a great vacuum. The vacuum repair guy said so........BUT THE SERVICE SUCKS....for what you pay, you can just go get a new one when the old one quits........

I received a call from Mike Felty's business. I picked up the phone and said hello. Immediately they hung up. This happened again another 3 times in 15 minutes. I called the number that came up on my caller ID after looking up the information on the number. After getting through to someone they immediately got defensive when I asked who was calling from this number. I asked them politely to not call me back after calling me 4 times just to hang up. They said they never called. Uhm, yea ok. I do not appreciate being blatantly lied to, hung up on and then them not having the professionalism/guts to explain themselves.Another useless telemarketing company trying to get sales for Kirby Vacuums. Where they got my number is beyond me, but it is stupidity on their part to pull such stunts, especially when their info is all on the web for everyone to see.
