Overall

I started here with Laser Hair...

I started here with Laser Hair removal doing my underarms and brazilian (we all know best place to get done) but i got talked into doing Vela treatments.

Ladies let me tell you , wow .

It wasnt like i dropped lbs like crazy or got out of my mom jeans but i did loose inches and i did get my skin tighter and looking alot better.

Vela motivated me , gave me a smooth apperance, gave me the confidence again.

Im not skin but im pretty skinny. meaning i feel good about my body again.

Thanks to the girls downtown at American Laser Skincare im not nearly as hard on myself as i used to be.

They give great support with all treatments i highly reccomend them.

All laser tattoo removal devices are not the same. The tattoo is a foreign particle in the form of ink. The tattoo artist places the ink in the dermis or the under layer of skin. Because the ink has the ability to absorb light, it is important for the laser to be of high quality and calibrated. High quality lasers prevent thermal buildup in the ink. Such heating can cause blisters and burns on the skin and can lead to permanent injury especially for darker complexions. Lasers need calibration and if the maintenance is neglected, the laser can cause burns when removing the tattoo. Beware of the half price treatments advertised on internet specials. Often the devices used are old and ineffective.

Laser lipolysis begins by having a very dilute solution of saline and local anesthetic gently in infused in the fatty area to be melted and removed. This process is painless. Once the liquid diffuses on the problem fat, the laser fiber of the Smartlipo is placed into the numbed fatty area and the laser melts the fat. At this point the thin suction is placed into the small opening that was about the size of a ear piercing and the liquid fat is gently aspirated. The final skin tightening involves simply putting the fiber back into the area and heating the under skin. This serves the purpose of coagulating and stimulating the dermis to become more plump.
