The Saint Joseph, Missouri store is full of middle aged employees who sit around and gossip about their difficult customers all day. At a follow up appointment I had I overheard them berating a woman who had been in the day before because she needed her frames replaced and heard some very rude remarks. Then, when I was called back (at 9:40 for my 9:15 appointment) I stated that I hoped this would be quick because I had to work at 10 and wasn t told I would need to redo the eye testing, as this was just a follow up appointment. I was very rudely told that EVERYONE has to complete these tests. While sitting in the lobby waiting for the eye doctor after the testing, the woman who did the testing began gossiping about me to another employee. I abruptly told her that I could hear her, and it was completely unprofessional and she apologized. Overall, staff was terrible. However, the eye doctor was very nice and professional and he (and my 3 year membership) is the only reason I will ever go back.

They have so many hidden cots that my 2 pairs for $100 ended up costing my over $450, and I wasn't made aware or it until all the paperwork way filled out and I was paying. I have since been to a smaller, local place and was treated much better and not like an ATM.
