I called ace cab at 2:00 and asked for a cab to pick me up and take me to work at 2:30. Granted, I take them everyday to go to work. It was 2:40 and still no cab so I called again and told them I needed to be at work before 3 which is why i called ahead in the first place. The only response I got was "your cab is on the way he should be pulling up any second." Needless to say another 10 minutes went by and he finally showed up. Slow service, not reliable, over charging, cab drivers drive EXTREMELY slow resulting in the meter to rise.

Unreliable. I called them at 2:20am and they told me it would be about 25-30min till a cab gets here, so i agreed to wait. Well 50 min later, still no cab. So i call again and the dispatcher apologizes to me and tells me my cab is on the way right now....well it is now 4:17am and still no cab...do not use, glad uber finally came to st. Louis area.

Most of their cab drivers are drunks or druggies. Very unprofessional. Some sit in bars drinking while waiting for calls. One is in hiding because he hit and ran a car and knocked it's door off. One caused a multi car accident a few months ago and someone died. Cabs are in horrible shape, dirty, smelly. Don't waste your money. They lie about their fares and end up charging you a lot more than stated. No thanks!

BAD BAD BAD!! This company I used for over a year and now they say they won't give me a ride because I insulted one of their drivers!!!?? I absolutely did not!! I think they just don't want to drive me the couple of blocks to my house anymore. I only call them after dark so as not to get mugged on my way home! Oh and by the way if there are any police officers reading this be aware that their drivers are offering their customers beer!! To bad there is no way to leave them negative stars!!

I've had to use many cabs in many towns anymore times than not find it to be an unpleasant experience - today was the first time ever I literally enjoyed a cab ride - the driver was kind, the car super clean and everything was on time without it feeling like all traffic laws were being violated! I've never felt compelled to write a review before this but since I finally had something nice to say I thought I should share!

I called Ace Cab after being essentially stranded by the "other cab co." and they were so prompt and polite that I've used them every since. They have always been on time and pleasant to ride with. I was so happy with the promptness and dependability each time I've used them for airport runs that I even got my parents to start using them as well. I highly recommend using Ace!

Never use this business, I saw other reviews about the driving of the cabs. April, 23, 2011, 11am, raining, cab #3, green and white mini-van that said "St. Charles Taxi Cab, cuts me off going west bound on Hwy94 where I had to put on my brakes. The lady riding in the front seat, probably family, proceeded to stick her tounge out at me. Real nice. I called the number on the cab to complain about the eratic driving, it turns out to be the guy driving. I asked him if he realized he almost hit me, he told me to "Go F%#k yourself". This is obviously a road raging guy who doesn't need to be driving a cab with his business name on it for a living. Watch out for this company while on the roads.

I am from a larger city and came to St.Charles for business, The cab was waiting for me at the airport, my luggage was way late so the driver took me to the hotel and when the airport called to advised me that my luggage was ready for pick up the driver from ace brought me my luggage to the hotel.What a first class company.

Very professional driver on time helpful for senior citizen on time and cheaper than other cab

Ace Cab always shows up on time. Driver calls to confirm arrival. So far they are performing as requested. I tried two other services. One was 30 minutes late, the other never showed.

I had these guys pick my mother up at the airport and drive them to St. Charles and all I heard all weekend is how good the driver was. Great Service Great People

I have never ridden with them. Now I never will ride with Ace Cab as I would be in Fear of my life and those along our route.



Last night about 9:30 pm I was driving up Midpoint in O’Fallon with my grandson in his car seat. I was in my lane doing the posted 25mph. There were a few cars parked in different spots on both sides of the street. It’s about 3 lanes wide here.



A green and white Taxi wit his top all lit up came flying down the street in his lane doing at least 40mph. I’m glad there were no kids out or he would have run right over them. When he got to the parked car in his lane he wips out around it right through the middle lane and half over into my lane.



I hit the brakes and the horn but he just came right on. I ended up with a front tire and half my car in someone’s grass to get out of his way. He didn’t even stop just flew right past me pretending not to even notice.



The name on the back of the cab said St Charles Taxi Cab. I called directory assistance and got what turns out to be a different company with one word changed. Not realizing I had someone else, I called the dispatcher and laid into him. I screamed for at least 3 minutes while still sitting in there grass.



The dispatcher calmed me down and apologized for what the driver had done. Then and only then did he inform me that it was not one of his drivers or one of his cars. All of there cars are a solid color that is neither green nor white. That there company was a slightly different name. He then explained that ACE has there name on the side of the cabs, but has this fake name on the back so when people call directory assistance or the police to complain it all gets routed to him. That they get several complaints a month about the green and white Ace cabs.



After I looked them up on here by the name of ACE CAB I tried calling. The moment I started to complain the dispatcher told me he was busy and hung up!



I will never ride with them, and every time I see one in my subdivision I am going to dial 911 and file a complaint. We are ticketing the high school kids for driving over 30 in here even when they are being safe. This is a grown man whose job is to drive. He needs to be taken off the street. If this company can’t realize that and is not interested enough to listen to my complaint then the company apparently does not care whom they kill or what there drivers are doing. That is not a company I want to be doing business in my neighborhood.

When we were going downtown I called around and got prices from 3 companies. Ace was the best price and they didn't charge a Fuel surcharge like the one did.



When we got down there Ace applied the discount and then said we owed over $30 more than they had quoted us on the phone. Way more than the more expensive company we normally use had quoted us.



We paid it and told the guy when to come get us. No one ever came back. When I called I got someone else that didn't know where I was talking about and wouldn't come down to take us home.



I called the company that had quoted the highest and had a fuel surcharge. They came and found us, took us home and charged us .20 more than they had estimated on the phone. $11 less than Ace had charged us after giving us a discount.



Never will I call Ace Cab again. It's just like that old adadge my dad used to quote over and over. If it seems to good to be true it probably is. I should have know when they quoted such a low price on the phone it was too good to be true.

As a business man coming on regular business from Chicago, I'm pleased to see that level of service in such a small suburban town. While the gas prices are high, Ace Cab of St. Charles did not charge me or my co-workers extra for gas or extra passengers in the cab. The driver was kind enough to wait for us and helped us with our luggage. The taxi cab was nice and clean and we were entertained by the level of conversations between the driver and dispatcher.

5 stars service, fast and friendly. It was joy to ride with you guys. Will recommend to anyone.
