Kensington School

My son Started at Kensington in St. Charles when he was 2 years old. We had a great experience that he continued on through Kindergarden. When he was 3 he had Mrs. Houghland who is very loving and caring for her students and he developed with her until he went with Mrs. Heth who is very serious at getting her children ready for kindergarden but also teaches the behaviors of what is expected. I had the pleasure to have my son in the kindergarden prgram at kensington with Mrs. Smith. She taught him lots to help him develope for 1st grade. Mrs. Smith works with each of her students at their level. Because of Mrs. Smith's encouragement, by the time he left kindergarden he was doing math and reading at the middle to end of 1st grade. Because the teachers strive for getting the best from their students my son tested into a Magnet School where he is thriving as a straight A student.

My children have attended Kensington School of St.Charles since they were infants. As a working mom it is always difficult to leave your "most precious possessions" in others hands. I have had the best experience with all staff members, classroom organization and upmost quality care. I LOVE this school and my children have learned more than any person could begin to imagine. We are invited to 2-3 programs a year, a Thanksgiving feast, special Saturday outings, just to name a few. We have always been welcomed at Kensington at any given time. I love to "sneak" in and watch my children engaged and happy as I peek in through the door window. It was a great choice for our family and is truly our "home away from home" with caring, loving teachers to welcome us very day!
