St Albans Window Mfg & Siding

I had 16 windows fitted - a whole house. They came in, removed all the old aluminum framed windows, hauled off all old material and then fitted the new windows - all done within 2 days. I'm very pleased with their product. I compared the alternatives but I liked dealing with St Albans Windows because they are an established local family business and they are keen to maintain their long-standing good reputation. That is a very rare attribute in this day and age of products manufactured overseas. I have no complaints at all.

I had windows and a door installed almost two years ago. The installation was very good and professional-looking. I have had no complaints with the products or installation until now. The door I had installed was a $1300.00 steel entry door, and for the last month the door has been a chore to get locked due to the locking mechanisms and strike plates not lining up. I checked the frame and it is plumb and square, but the door slab itself is out of square now. I called and scheduled for them to come out and look at it since the door has a lifetime warranty. The appointment was for today at 4:00 p.m. I'm still waiting.....no phone call to reschedule, sorry we're running late, nothing. I called the office and got a message stating the office was closed at 4:00 p.m. After purchasing a whole house full of windows and a door, you'd think a phone call to explain the no-show would be the least they could do. I gave them three stars because the initial installation was great as well as the windows, but their service after the sell for a deficient product is very poor.
