Tony's Original Restaurant

Just left the Tonys on State St. My husband and friend ordered a breakfast sandwich with sausage and bacon. Both sandwiches came out without bacon. Our waitress who was awesome mentioned it to the cook and the cook began to share his opinion as loudly as possible. Other patrons heard him and even asked our waitress what was wrong with him. He began explaining it was wasteful and the owner would never approve to have two meats on a breakfast sandwich. This went on the entire time he was cooking the bacon. Once it came out we requested to send the bacon back because he was clearly upset that he had to make an additional order. I have never experienced such blatant ignorance from an employee who is literally paid to make food. The waitress expressed the cook had been with the restaurant for 30+ years and she kept apologizing to us and we could tell she was embarrassed. I could definitely tell that Tony's does not care about their customer service and how their PAYING customers are treated inside of their restaurants. Let alone making two young waitresses deal with such an ignorant negative old man daily. Don't eat here. If you do just make sure to not ask for any extras that you are more than prepared to pay for.
