Sheridan Arms

We went to Sheridan to look for and possibly purchase a gun (Glock 42) Not one salesperson greeted us when we walked in and when we asked to look at the gun the salesperson said "no, they didn't have any" and walked away. He didn't even asked us if we wanted to look at other guns.

Very disappointed in the service. Spent $700 elsewhere.

Sheridan Arms has been and will always be my gun shop. I have never had a bad experience or been treated badly in there. The workers are very insightful and knowledgeable. My experience with the suppressor purchasing process was very much the same as the other person that complained about the length of time it took to get mine, but I do not hold the shop or Phil accountable for that. When I purchased my suppressor I got my paperwork a couple days after the payment. My process took roughly 11 months. Funny thing is that my check was cashed by the government about 2 week after my paperwork was submitted. So that being said, I'm not sure exactly what that persons problem was/is but I don't think it was the shop or Phil's fault but that of the governments. I think if you have had any experience with the powers that be you will soon realize that they take their sweet time to do anything.



I should also add that I live down in the Detroit area and I pass by many other gun shops on my way to see my guys and gal at Sheridan Arms and I will continue to do so. If I could I would give 10 stars for this review but unfortunately I can't.



Keep up the great work guys. Oh and by the way, I need another suppressor I will be up soon.

Everyone I speak to about Sheridan Arms tells me how big of a mistake it was to buy anything from there. Were they ever right! The staff looks at the customers like they're clueless morons and when they don't know something they seem to make something up. They are very much overpriced. I bought a pistol there, then went to Williams and found the same model for $60 less. Really bad business. Also, more than a full year after ordering a silencer, I finally received it. They can try to say that the ATF has long wait times or whatever, I'm not believing that. There's no way it should have taken more than a full YEAR! Seems like they sat on the paperwork because Phil was constantly out of town or doing other things but wouldn't let the staff do the paperwork. It was more than 6 months before I was able to even think about filling out the form 4. A couple of months after I ordered from sheridan I ordered 3 more silencers from 2 different gun shops. Two of those silencers were back to back from williams, one being the same model that I had ordered from sheridan. I received the last of those silencers 4 months faster than I did from sheridan arms. Look around, you will find MANY gun shops that are MUCH better than this place!

I went to Sheridan arms to look for pistols for a CPL class I am taking.

I asked if they had any decent 9 mm's at a good price.

they bald guy who acts stuck up to all customers said "we don't sell cheap crap" (nice reply by the way) and then proceeded to hand me a plastic piece of crap. and said that's a cheap gun... (I thought they didn't sell cheap crap?) anyhow this is the worst gun shop in the area, I have never been treated so badly. I have been to this store 3 times and all three times the same guy has been there and he is uninformed, rude, and loutish. the shop is small and they have very little product. they are moving to a new location apparently I asked about this and they gave little information about it. I assume it will be bigger so they can have more people in there to be rude to.

If the employee I talked to worked for me .. he would not work for me.. if this is a co-owner he should go take classes on business and work ethnic.

I am renaming this store Sheridan Jerks. and will never go there agian and tell everyone i know not to go there ( I am a member of a private gun club in the area and will also let them and there members know about my trip to Sheridan Jerks.

2 things.



First. As a business owner myself, I think if you are going to destroy someone else's business have the guts to give details. It doesn't sound to me that the person writing the review was there, and they should have had the other person write a reivew.



Second, the only two things I could find wrong with the place were that it's too small and too many guns simply aren't available, but I'll give the government a ZERO stars for that since we are all having to buy every firearm that moves in order to protect ourselves from the real tyrants, not school shooters. Hope that wasn't too vague. lol



Although I could write a 5 star review for having my questions answered as I asked them, I chose to write this because the negative review was so hot-headed I don't want to see one of the most important businesses in Saginaw lose out because the next person decided not to take the time to read the useless rant. I had no complaints and I'm pretty sure Phil was one of the guys I talked to.

We appreciate and embrace any "constructive" criticism; however we don't know the nature of your dissatisfaction and would like to extend the offer to rectify the offense rather than taint an entire organization due to a bad experience you had with someone at the shop. The staff here and Phil are always bending over backwards to assist customers and yes, we have been outgrowing our shop and working extra to fulfill our growing customers' demands. We hope your opinion takes into consideration us being sometimes  short staffed and overwhelmed in a busy showroom. We always encourage any questionable experience to be handled with integrity and appreciate being told face to face, so we can resolve an issue promptly. If you can identify yourself in person and stop in we'd be happy to reconcile. To all of our valued customers; you make us who we are and we value your opinions the most. Stop by the shop, we'd be happy to assist you and keep the great shooting sports alive in our great community.

I HAVE BEEN SENDING IN PEOPLE FROM MY CIRCLE OF ABOUT 200 SHOOTING AND FIREARMS CARRYING FRIENDS FOR FIREARMS AND CPL CLASSES FOR ABOUT 5 YEARS NOW..THEY ARE ALWAYS TREATED WITH GREAT RESPECT BY ANGELA, BUT WHENEVER PHIL THE OWNER IS THERE THEY ARE TREATED HORRIBLY....TODAY IS THE LAST DAY.. I WILL NEVER REFER ANYONE TO SHERIDAN ARMS. IF YA DO GO PLEASE ASK FOR ANGELA...SHE WILL TAKE VERY GOOD CARE OF YA....BUT AN OWNER LIKE PHIL DOES NOT DESERVE TO HAVE LOYAL CUSTOMER....PEOPLE WHO GO INTO A BUSINESS TO SPEND THEIR HARD EARNED MONEY SHOULD NOT BE JUDGED, ignored, and treated bad...By an idiot who does no deserve their business..
