Methodist Hospital of Sacramento

No issues what so ever. Everyone there was fun and respectful and they maintain their professionism. They made laugh and made me feel that u mattered. And that's what counts. I honestly didn't want to leave and I hate hospitals.

Methodist hospital is owned by Dignity Health. Great hospital in the south area. Staff is nice and very helpful.

Id like to give this Hospital no stars if possible, I came in for a swollen finger that had some type of parasite on it, they didn't believe me and tricked me into the back where they had mentally unstable people, tricked me and told me to change into a gown, when I said "what is this dominating' they responded with a lie and said "no dominating" as soon as I changed , they locked me in a room for 4 days, regardless if my car was outside, my mom was disabled & losing my job due to this hold, no phone calls allowed-only when the nurse feels like it, even when you plead to call your baby they demanded "No". They acted with a feel of unholy grounds of santinisim. Dirty, filthy floors, walls and beds felt like someone prior had scabies, guards made fun of you while watching while on duty, inhumane treatment.

NEVER have I been to such an incompetent and useless hospital. Nurses have no knowledge of there own field and can't explain anything to you (specifically Sheri, Joan, and Joann). I had 4 different nurses come to do one task, start an iv! Sheri was my attending nurse, but seemed to be too busy for me, so Joann stepped in to do the poke, then a male nurse took over and administered the solution and pain meds because of breaks needing to be taken. He was pleasant, but no one gave a name,no proper hand off, and NO hand washing/sanitizing in or out of the room! I'm glad my thing wasn't major, I feared and prayed for everyone else. Private er rooms (nice)but No privacy curtain to undress into gown to prepare for my procedure. I had to force Sheri to go through the discharge papers and instructions with me, which she did a horrible job had know sense of terminology at all! The reason she wanted me to sign first then she would come back to go over it was,"I just need to get this filed right away"...then she came back and said I could put my clothes on because she needed to get another patient in that room. Mind you the room haven't even been cleaned after me! Oh so since I was feeling better, so I went to find a bathroom. Impossible to find one that was clean!

I didn't even want to go to ER since I didn't have insurance at the time and I knew it would be expensive, but I had a bad fall and knew I had to go in. I could not put any weight on my foot and it was not treated at all. I had to hop on one foot when I came in and then hopped out on one foot. After leaving ER we went to Walgreens to buy crutches since the hospital refused to give me any, and also refused to wrap my foot. They thought I should just walk out but it hurt so much if I even touched my foot to the ground. The pain went from my big toe under my foot all the way back to my achilles tendon. It was unbelievably painful. I only went there because it was the closest facility to my house, but now I know better. It's really dirty and also in a pretty shady area. Not much going for it at all lol.

HANDS DOWN ONE OF THE WORST HOSPITALS EVER!! 5 YEARS AGO IT WASNT SO BAD NOW HORRIBLE MY DELIVERY ROOM EXPERIENCE WAS THE WORSE!! THEY REFUSED TO DELIVER MY DAUGHTER EVEN THOUGH I WAS IN LABOR AND WAS DIALTED TO 6!!! CAUSES ME PROBLEMS NOW PAIN WISE! WE HAD TO STAY THERE FOR 5 DAYS! BECAUSE THERE LAB TAINTED THE BLOOD THEY TOOK THE FIRST TIME THEN THEY HAD TO DO IT AGAIN BECAUSE THE LAB DIDNT TAKE ENOUGH THE SECOND TIME MY POOR BABY GIRLS FEET LOOKED LIKE A CAT SCRATCHED THEM AND THEY WERE SO BRUISED, THE NURSES WERE SO RUDE NOT ATENTIVE AT ALL! I WILL NEVER DELIVER A BABY THERE AGAIN! AND A FEW MONTHS BEFORE THIS I WAS THERE AFTER BEING A CAR ACCIDENT THE NURSES FAILED TO TAKE MY INSURANCE INFORMATION WHICH IS THERE JOB!! AND NOW THERE TELLING ME ITS MY FAULT TRYING TO MAKE ME PAY 15000.00 NOT WILLING TO BILL MY INSURANCE WHICH I HAVE ALL BECAUSE THE NURSES FAILED TO DO THERE JOB PROPERLY IN THE ER!!!

The worst hospital in my opinion!

Recently, I took my friend to this hospital and let me tell you, it was one of the worst night of my life from having to deal with the employees here!!! We went in on a Friday night around midnight. From my experiences, I've been to several different hospital due to my grandparents health so i can say that this hospital was not busy at all. The RN was so weird and rude! His name was Micheal just in case you decide to go here :) . Micheal considered himself to be very professional he said but why in the world would you make comments regarding my friend personal/health issues. For example, on personal matters, my friend didn't have a cell phone at the time so she decided to add my number onto the contact number. I didn't mind but Micheal mind because he question her why don't she have a cell phone, these days everyone has a cell phone. Oh wow, Thanks Micheal for belittling her. Not all people are fortunate as you are :) . As I mention the place was not busy at all but we were there for more than 6 hours and we weren't placed into a room. We waited outside and let me tell you there were people who came in 3 hours after us and left way before us. Weird right. He kept telling us that they were waiting on the result from the test which was taken in the second hour when she was seen by the doctor. Since my friend was too nice i decided to go question why we waited so long and demand to be seen. We almost left the place without being seen. Finally, Micheal went off to find the doctor but it wasn't the original doctor we had seen. This doctor look unsure of himself to diagnose my friend health problem. He told us that they didn't find anything at all from all the test. Wow, really, I am thankful that there is nothing wrong with my friend but we waited for more than six hours... we could've left in the three hour that we been there.

I have had experiences with Methodist Hospital for over 20 years. During that time it has had a well deserved reputation for being dirty and poorly maintained. Yes DIRTY. Actual dirt and dead bugs in the corners and on window sills, curtains ripped or missing and call bells not working...or possibly just ignored. (?) I shudder to think of the diseases on bed and table surfaces. When my husband was recovering from a knee replacement, I was continually reminding the staff to wash their hands before touching his dressings. They should not have to be told!!!



I spent three days there after surgery and when I left, my bloody bandages from day one were still laying under my bed.

The staff is overworked and they don't really seem to see the patients as people....just objects to be tended to. The noise is a big factor too. I believe the lack of sleep was the worse part of recovery.When the staff was asked to get visitors to quiet down I was told that they could not because of fear of getting in trouble themselves. Ridiculous!



I only deal with this place because my Doctor prefers it. Let's hope he never has to be a patient.

This hospital is the worst for communication with patients and their family members. The nurses don't have a clue or don't want to help patients. They look disgusted when they are caring for the patients. One doctor in particular is the worst, I hope he will be fired some day or will experience what it's like to be in the dark and not know what's going on with your loved one. Please do not take your love ones to Methodist Hospital, the service is bad and the doctor that took care of my mom is not caring either. He's just there for the money. What comes around goes around.....someday he'll get what he deserve..
