Arcola City Police Department

So the other night I had to call 911 and get and officer out at my place for mental help with my brother in law. The operator gave the officer the directions to my place since my area I live is so new. The officer that showed up showed up fast and knew the area where I was without true directions. Officer Womack was the responding officer on call. He was very professional and helped defuse the situation my family and I have on hand. It really helped that he could relate to my brother in law and help him out. Officer Womack is the definition of serving his city he works for. He is involved with the community and also checks in on his victims to make sure they are still doing good. Arcola pd started off in my book with a bad rep but from that one good experience I have had with them through officer Womack has changed my opinion and know they are trying hard to do their job the best they can. Thank you officer Womack again for helping us out! Words can’t express how thankful we are for you!

Arcola city put lot of pressure on the police officers to do fundraising for the city by giving tickets to drivers. its a pathetic situation.
Their court is a joke.
